hmm, what about other models?
Does the context size really matter that much if a “dumb zone” starts around 120k-150k anyway?

looks great! and good that you decided on the one-time fee instead of a subscription. side question: what did you use to create these videos/gifs on the homepage that shows the app? They look really good!
100% if will. obviously LLMs will stay with us (same way as internet did) but the burst will happen.

What’s your view? The original idea for Facebook was stolen, then he bought Instagram and Whatsup to stay afloat. Metaverse is/was an absolute disaster. And I’m not even talking about all the scandals from Cambridge Analytica era.How bad CEO, in your opinion, is Mark?

1 month is not that long. And also you need to expand your traction meaning: increase the number of downloads. So… marketing. You should try to find your main acquisition channels and focus on this for now, do not spend your time on trying to improve your product if you don’t have higher number of downloads. If it’s a b2c app then usually conversion rate (install-to-purchase) is around 1-4%.
Ok, in this case I misunderstood author's point here. "Agentic commerce" for me is a framework that networks (MC, Visa) and other big players in the ecosystem are working on. So it's far from "i'll give my credit cards details to openclaw and hope for the best". Obviously I know that a lot of people do that, unfortunately...
„Agentic commerce means handing your credit card to a Large Language Model” - this is simply not true. LLMs/Agents will never get any credit/debit card details, they will be just an interface.
something is totally off today with claude code and its limits. not sure if it’s bug or anthropic sized down the limits…
Same here. Removed my account, deleted the app.
I haven’t used chatgpt for so long now. Only Claude and Gemini. Account permanently removed.
Well, I checked your chat cause I'm planning a company retreat to Athens for two teams - one from Poland, the other from Sweden. And the chatbot told me (after saying what a wonderful destination Athens is) that there are direct fligths from both cities to Athens which is simply not true...

I get it - LLMs do have some value, but not as much as everyone (especially those from AI labs) is trying to pitch. I can't help thinking that it's so obvious we are almost at the very top of this bubble - but here it feels like the majority of HN doesn't think like that...Yet just in 2026 we had:- AI.com was sold for $70M - Crypto.com founder bought it to launch yet another "personal AI agent"...
interesting! how is it going? what’s the average price tag for such projects?

yes! I’m interested as well!
this text looks like LLM-generated…
Thanks for your detailed response. I agree with what you wrote. But the key part is: "We sell to business not consumers." --> My product is not business-oriented. Probably there is a small % of businesses that use it but it's definitely not a majority (at least not right now). If I had a B2B product I would just do a subscription without thinking too much.
Cool! Did AI halve your income as well? Or did it just affect the traffic (low quality traffic)?
That's my feeling as well. I wonder who says that SAAS is dying.
Awesome, thanks, I will reach out!
Well I guess this is the way forward for me.

Is there anybody here who is successfully running a business that is not based on a subscription revenue model?I have a nice side project (a macOS app) that uses a one-time fee. But very often (while listening to some podcasts about bootstrapped products) it feels like it's either subscription-based or nothing. Is there no point in having a one-time fee product? Is that correct? Am I living in...
I do miss Flickr good times... I still cannot find anything like this.
