It's very buggy. A full reload helps. Don't press too many buttons until you land. Then press F until the car appears. only enter when it stops. That's my experience with it
Re:Opus 5 is currently #1 on Artificial Analysis Intelligence Leaderboard on Saturday July 25, 2026 @05:03AM (#49045864)
I found out it really depends on the repo I'm working on, and it's not just about being a new/old repo, there's something else which I can't really grasp yet.

It's not as bad with gemeni and claude in combiniation with skills.
Re:Gemini 3.1 Pro Preview on Friday February 20, 2026 @03:35AM (#47085303)
I'm doing Ruby and Gemini 3.0 pro has by far been the best model for me. It writes the nicest ruby code, like I would. Further, it either succeeds or fails hard and obviously. I prefer it failing hard instead of of slowly going weird in my code.

Similar in antigravity. Privately it's my absolute favorite.

So I'm actually rooting for this.

Re:iOS 27 'Rave' Update to Clean Up Code, Could Boost Battery Life on Monday February 16, 2026 @03:56PM (#47040232)
Reminds me of the "Apple has not fixed the macOS audio left/right balance bug for nearly 10 years" - https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=39367460

or "NoTunes is a macOS application that will prevent Apple Music from launching" https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=40426621

There are so many annoyances allover already. Not Windows 11 level, but noticeably bad.

It's so much better and worse than Wikipedia at the same time.

It's a soft reminder of that
Re:Tell HN: YouTube gave my username Switzerland to a half government ... on Friday January 16, 2026 @07:14AM (#46645686)
Interesting https://www.youtube.com/Switzerland is still mine, but my user handle is gone. https://www.youtube.com/@Switzerland goes to swiss tourism but they have the handle @switzerland

Tell HN: YouTube gave my username Switzerland to a half government organization

Posted by faebi on Friday January 16, 2026 @06:50AM
from the self-post dept.

I had the username @switzerland since 20.03.2006. Swiss tourism had another username since 17.10.2006. Now recently google gave my username away to swiss tourism without any notification. Their other username was fine for literally 20 years.Worse, the app still showed my username for a long time meanwhile youtube.com/@Switzerland already showed that of swiss tourism (Schweiz Tourismus) and I...

Today I had a good day.

> Put AirPods into my ears

> Press play

> AirPods connect from my iPhone to my Mac

> iPhone starts to play music on speaker

Re:Gemini 3.0 spotted in the wild through A/B testing on Thursday October 16, 2025 @04:14PM (#45610130)
I do feel like LLM's start to match certain personalities and characteristics of users which makes them unattractive to others. I assume we will need a better kind of personalization layer in the future or the ecosystems will start to drift. For example I very much feel like grok fits my thought patters by far the best.
