Re:Elf Worker: Magic for code on Wednesday September 09, 2015 @09:56PM (#10195797)
I love the idea of this like with Magic from a few months ago. But I got burned by them, so not really willing to try this.
I think that's dead now. They haven't replied to my emails in weeks. And never charged me for my first project either. Shame.
I gave this a try and first delivery was good. Sent another job and was promised delivery the other night, but haven't heard anything since and they don't reply to emails.

Well someone's going to get fired after this is over. What complete shambles so far.

This is the funnest thing I've seen in weeks in regards to tech. Nice job. And looks like a nice tool too.

By Greek culture they mean frat culture, right?

No surprise the company is doomed. They're illegal.

I wonder how much cash they were sinking. They didn't earn any money at all, they were the literal definition of waiting for a buyout.
Re:Show HN: On-demand feedback from curated designers on Tuesday July 01, 2014 @01:18PM (#7972110)
Strange that there are no examples at all, or any mention of the type of feedback one would get it. Is it standardised or can each designer just spew 1 line generic statements if they want? And another give you an essay. Just gave it a shot anyway. Will see what happens.
Re:Ask HN: What projects are you working on? on Saturday June 28, 2014 @06:50PM (#7959636)
A music discovery/streaming curated platform.
Do you have a link to your site that works? Your Twitter one is down.
Looks nice. Shame there's no Android version.

Keyboard social justice warriors won then. Sad day. Best of luck to Mozilla. And to America.
Re:Mozilla Supports LGBT Equality on Saturday March 29, 2014 @10:55PM (#7494996)
I am so bored of seeing this over and over again. There is absolutely no ties between someones professional and personal life. As is, between a foundation/corporation and the views of any of their employees - yes this includes chairman. Give it a rest for crying out loud.
Re:Goodbye, Firefox Marketplace on Monday March 24, 2014 @04:51PM (#7461364)
Irrelevant of any feelings towards being gay or not.

Surely this is a form of oppression in itself. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, whether you approve of them or not, and so by effectively black-mailing others to conform to your perceived social 'right'.

I see this as a sad attempt at press. Having never heard of this company or product before.

Re:Show HN: Luna Delivery – night packages for London on Sunday February 02, 2014 @06:50PM (#7168146)
Thanks for your comment!

1. I would actually completely agree with you that evening deliveries is not enough to sustain a business. Our roadmap consists of many other delivery/shipping services that will be rolled out. We just thought the concept of night deliveries was a good way to introduce the consumer side of our company, building off from there. Especially as it helps polish our internal system methods before we offer 24/7 delivery.

2. Indeed, London also has other services like Collect+ where you can get your item at your local corner shop. We do plan on introducing our own locker system now in the spring, so we are on board and in support of the locker system as existing in harmony with a dedicated delivery system too.

Re:Show HN: Luna Delivery – night packages for London on Sunday February 02, 2014 @06:29PM (#7168079)
Yes, we have a contact for partnerships on the site. But haven't pushed an actual dedicated business page on the site yet as we believe in getting a larger customer base first before hitting retailers? Or is there thinking that retailers would be interested in being able to offer the service to their customers, without care to our actual numbers?

Is the domain still available? Would fit in great with a project here.
