Re:Astra can read and write weights to improve Qwen on Monday November 02, 2026 @05:25PM (#50344826)
Now I'm curious if Astra can write raw .bin files.
Re:Proton Flock Camera Map on Sunday October 25, 2026 @11:02PM (#50238542)
Protons map includes other countries.
Re:Proton Flock Camera Map on Sunday October 25, 2026 @10:59PM (#50238527)
There's one in Cuba and others scattered around Mexico. Also Hawaii and South Africa.
Re:Gemini 4 Argon on Wednesday October 14, 2026 @01:33AM (#50082808)
it has a context of 1 million tokens. Antigravity classifies the context which is helpful.
Re:Gemini 4 Argon on Wednesday October 14, 2026 @01:32AM (#50082798)
i'm using our companies enterprise account.
Re:Gemini 4 Argon on Tuesday October 13, 2026 @07:20PM (#50080334)
I'm using Gemini Argon 4 now with antigravity cli and it can absolutely code.
Or the more perplexing, a smart fridge.

Think of all that sweet sweet food data that a fridge could on sell.

I was formally diagnosed as a kid but didn’t do the drug route due to my father not liking these new drugs. I’m in my 40’s now and only started enforcing a sleep routine 10ish years ago. Eg. Bedtime at 11 and get up when alarm goes off at 7:30. And the effect on me was astounding. Everything just levelled out. I still like/need a coffee in the morning.
Yeah, this had me thinking. Does transplanting older organs into younger bodies force the body to rejuvenate the transplanted organ to the recipients age.

Edit: your article say so, neat.

Basically hacked the Australian Government.
Re:Claude Status – Elevated errors for multiple models on Tuesday September 22, 2026 @01:17AM (#49797054)
I think having a codebase that can use any harness is the optimal setup. I often switch between harnesses and models all the time at work. We have our state/spec stored in git, so we can pack it up on friday and start fresh on monday. Or more commonly, using gemini/opus to create rich specifications and using Luna to implement them. Then switching again for reviews etc.
Re:OpenSpec – A lightweight and configurable AI spec framework on Wednesday September 16, 2026 @09:57PM (#49735534)
I use the cli tool outside of the agent session. e.g. `openspec view` to see all the specs and what's pending.

The BBC links point to their old website.
Re:Setting up OpenCode with Ollama and sbx on Mac on Thursday September 10, 2026 @11:54PM (#49653361)
I did try oMLX, mlx and LM studio (Now Bionic). I returned back to Ollama because of stability issues.
Re:The asteroid currently hitting front end web development on Thursday September 03, 2026 @08:59PM (#49559177)
When done properly, yes. But AI agents are doing a lot of data logic in the frontend that should be in the backend behind secure api's. When this happens, the frontend becomes a massive risk.
Re:The asteroid currently hitting front end web development on Thursday September 03, 2026 @08:56PM (#49559156)
I was originally a Flash developer, when that died when Steve Jobs banned it from iPhones, I pivoted to frontend. I got to see web evolve over the next decade or so and loved every part of it.

Now, still as a frontend engineer albeit much more senior. The writing is on the wall, again. It's time to reskill for AI.

It's not bad news.

We as experienced engineers are needed to help build in the guardrails, frameworks, the new tooling, etc. There is a lot of work that is needed that requires actual engineers with technical experience.

Like the early internet, I see this as a new beginning and we get to decide how it evolves.

Switching from Q4 to Q8 was a game changer when I upgraded

The Arduino UNO Q is an almost perfect Hermes Agent host

I’ve wanted to try out Hermes agent for a while now but I never wanted to run it on my own personal machine. I thought about maybe using a hosted VPS but I wasn’t keen on the ongoing cost. Then I looked a recently acquired Arduino UNO Q. A weird arduino board that has an arduino on one side and Linux on the other side. The Linux chip can communicate to the arduino chip. The board I have has 4GB...

Yes, Linux is supported.

Re:Auto mode is now the default in Claude Code on Monday August 10, 2026 @01:27AM (#49239544)
I'm using Docker Sandboxes with a custom Kit. The cli is nice and the TUI is also good. https://docs.docker.com/ai/sandboxes/
Re:Auto mode is now the default in Claude Code on Monday August 10, 2026 @01:24AM (#49239516)
At this stage with the latest models with "increased persistence" and the sheer amount of supply chain attacks, you'd be insane not running these tools in a sandbox.
Pretty clear cut here. He instructed the AI.
And the second hand market. I'd love to see this integrated into motherboards like RAM. Someone could have a motherboard with 4 sticks of different AI with various models. Swap, change and trade.
Re:Surface – KDL Specification Format – Experimental on Saturday August 01, 2026 @07:38PM (#49139667)
I wanted a app spec format that could near deterministically output an application via an AI agent. Change the spec and the LLM could rebuild the whole application with that one change.

I used KDL so a human/you could easily write up a full app and let the agent build the application.

You can keep the spec simple or define the logic in each function with scoped context. You can also define your data model.
