heya! sorry about that, I don't usually have an iPhone on me to test updates to my site so I must've broken something in its reader mode. I'll be borrowing one tomorrow and try figure out what's causing this :)

I think it's pretty reasonable. The percentage of email accounts Google & Microsoft terminate seems far far lower than the chance I misconfigure my email or lose my domain

whoops good catch, I had thought it was a synonym for the record ttl's expiring

I'll go fix it now

That would be my assumption, although I wouldn't bet on it being as stable as a traditional domain registration

You can just join their Slack workspace (it's a bit like Discord) on their website: https://slack.hackclub.com/ Then in the #announcements channel you'll see all the different projects they're running, just pick and choose the ones that interest you. I went to one of their meetups "Horizons Europa" last week and had a great time!

for future reference, I've since renamed the book to "The Second Maintainer"

I might even need to change the name of the book

I've also been working on a free book about the XZ backdoor called 500 milliseconds. However, unlike this author it is entirely human written. A first draft is ready and I'm aiming to publish in a couple weeks

They can give me as good a guarantee as any search engine can that they pinkie promise they aren't selling your data. What keeps me with kagi is the quality. It is night and day using it and using other search engines. Even if they sold my searches, I'd still use them in a heartbeat.

I believe cloudflare only blocked archive.is on their "Families" filtered dns. I've been using their normal 1.1.1.1 and haven't encountered any blocks.

Just benchmarking my site and saw it as a new category.

As far as I can tell, this seems like it's impacting all of their Glasswing partners too, so no mythos for them either

> Agentic financial analysis Finance Agent v2 > Opus 4.8 53.9%

> Gemini 3.5 Flash scores 57.9% on Finance Agent v2, a significant improvement over Gemini 3.1 Pro.

Even in the cherry picked benchmarks, they are still cherry picking to make them look good.

I can't say enough good things about kagi, genuinely the best search engine I've tried

very nice article!
