Site to collect and share lists of resources around the internet like the ones on this page: https://github.com/ZuzooVn/machine-learning-for-software-eng...
In that same essay I think he also mentioned you can't know fully how good a hacker is until you've worked with them. I still agree that the best developers will be able to see talent.

Show HN: Arxiver.org – Browse and save your favorite arXiv papers and feeds

A few months ago I decided I should read more arXiv papers to stay up to date with machine learning, but I found the UI and lack of features of arXiv.org to be unwelcoming. So, as a fun project, I decided to build my own site to browse arXiv and that's where Arxiver.org came from. I'd love to get some feedback on site!

I can get behind this. But really, this looks cool and I'll definitely be trying it out.

I'd like to get involved in AI and I have already found a research group at this university along with a list of graduate students working on projects and their professor.

I'll begin reading through some of their research and getting used to reading papers as you suggested. Should I go through their professor to get to the students or contact them directly?

What I would like is to be around and ideally involved in new ideas, research, and discovery. Even if that means getting coffee and hours inside during the summer.

As a high school student, I'm not sure what I can offer any ideas there?

I also get the impression from your post that I need to get more specific and engage graduate students that are working on projects. Should I possibly be asking the graduate students to work with them as opposed to their professor?

Yeah a summer internship type thing. Thanks for the advice.
As in help out with their research as a learning experience.
Re:Ask HN: What are some good books on AI? on Sunday May 15, 2016 @11:42AM (#11701305)
Is there anyway to find papers without the references and suggestions in books?
That could be fun. What issues do you have with soundcloud?
Know of any resources for finding startups?
Past that point. Looking for things to do now!
I think the old icon is very 'iconic' and to ditch that may be a mistake.
I was working on a similar service using Bitcoin so the idea was mostly centered around maintaining control of your money and negligible fees. Our main issue was lack of a market to pitch to, but this idea is definitely something that I would hope becomes a reality.
So you plan to bundle all the payments into a monthly bill to avoid fees on each transaction? Doesn't this assume each user will be purchasing enough content to make the fees negligible?
How are you handling the payments?
