Re:Are Programmers smarter than Lawyers? on Sunday March 24, 2013 @01:34PM (#5432765)
This is a very stupid question! So I guess you are not a programmer :)
You are wrong that's not a car :)

I think this one has missed the point... Chad does everything he can to get people store their shit in his garage and is really proud that so many are using his garage.
Re:I’m keeping my Instagram account on Wednesday December 19, 2012 @04:27AM (#4941824)
Instagram new policy: You are not our customers, you are the cattle we drive to market and auction off to the highest bidder. Enjoy your feed and keep producing the milk.

The guy seems to understand that his just a cattle and he likes that or even if he doesn't like it he chooses to use the service because the feed is good, but not every one likes to be a cattle.

Why? really why do you put this kind of article here?
Re:Coursera's Functional Programming - Cheating Discovered on Wednesday October 10, 2012 @10:36AM (#4636467)
The most frightening thing about this is the number of people that want a black list of names. what's the next step? stoning them in public, making them wear a special hat?

The job of coursera is to provide access to learning and there it should stop. Coursera should not provide certificate of any kind, most people go there to learn not to become certified on anything, Cheaters will go way if there is no certificate since their purpose is not to learn.

Re:Introducing the Redesigned Bitbucket on Wednesday October 10, 2012 @09:38AM (#4636232)
I'm using them for the last two years, they are awesome, great job.
awesome!

This is a good reason to learn go :)

First congrats for the framework.

Secondly a question :)

Play team solved the compile "problem" of java using a lib from eclipse so it compiles files on the fly. do you have something similar, or do you plan to include something similar? I think compiling on every change you make while developing an app is painful, the biggest problem java frameworks have, excluding Play! of course.

Why do the need to ways to verify that it's me. one is not enough!!

Cancel :)

Any sane person does NOT see anything wrong with that paragraph, that is probably a paragraph that will convince anyone that putting such rules is for the best.

Well maybe not everyone, I guess pedophiles will be very disappointed and will play the card of freedom to convince otherwise.

American propaganda condemning the rocket internet for doing copycat companies, completely ignoring that 99% of tech companies in US are just copycats... even the most successful.

I guess the only reason why "Arrington copycats" hate them is that they create and execute successful copycat companies.

The company rocks :)

I have two dedicated servers (EX 6 with ECC) they are awesome. Until now I had no issue with them.

I hope they continue this way.

is this like myspace? :)
In 1798 Thomas Robert Malthus predicted food shortages as population grows geometrically and food arithmetically. but here we are today with plenty of food :) in fact we have so much more that it causes us health problems...

I think these predictions overlook technological advancements just like Malthus did.

On one hand she's talking about the lack of diversity and on the other hand she will not encourage young girls to join engineering...

I think the problems she referes to are completely unrelated to female in tech!

Re:Why I'm Moving Away from the Play Framework on Monday March 12, 2012 @07:05AM (#3692998)
Play! is one the best things that has happened to java in the last 10 years!

From the post I understood that she was pissed because they did not accept her fix on testing the app from the IDE.

The second point was that there is a bug in the framework that they could not find... it seems though as the bug is in their application. (concurrent modification of a Map is a problem in java not Play!)

It's a pity to give up such a great framework for silly reasons.

Every time I have to switch to another framework (especially jsf) I want to shoot myself.

Anyway... good luck finding another good java framework.

Re:Where would you look for co-founder? on Tuesday July 26, 2011 @09:59AM (#2807327)
I think it's really hard to trust someone that you don't know!

I would go for a friend or colleague... but never family member :)

Re:What the French 'Civilised Internet' Looks Like on Wednesday June 22, 2011 @04:00AM (#2682199)
Could not agree more... spreading the counter message is best way to deal with it.
And then what!? what will you do with your informed choices!

I think you are assuming too much.

Yes, you are a very bad programmer! just follow reedF211 advice to improve yourself, and be prepared to loose everyone around you.

good programmers do not have friends :)

and by the way do not forget to meditate on sarcasm, always make the other feel bad for being alive.
