I miss the Netherlands! But I don’t miss IKEA there. Their delivery drivers couldn’t find their asses with both hands, a flashlight, and GPS.

Why not just a standard aluminum Chatsworth Rack?
Re:Prepare for changes to macOS Server 5.7.1 on Monday October 01, 2018 @11:50AM (#18113797)
You can run MacOS in a VM as long as it’s on apple hardware.

That was really entertaining. I personally find his written account a little more vivid, but it was nice to hear it directly from the pilot.
He’s paid tribute to in the recent version of Cosmos.

Metric, Imperial, or Shit-ton?
`“Hiri” can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.`

Is it really expensive for a dev to get a cert from apple? I don't develop so i've never looked.

I inferred doing the computer support was something he just liked to do. Everyone needs a hobby :)

For those who cannot read the original article in Europe[0]

That's the point, there are _other_ jobs they should have taken because these jobs were knee-jerk reactionary responses that shouldn't exist to begin with.

I don't support McD's however I'm sure you could be describing a generic fast food place. You really can't compare working fast food to working for the government. People work for the government for a whole lot more different reasons then working fast food type jobs. For one, it's 100x easier to get a job at McDriveThrough then it is to get hired on as a federal employee. I'm talking from personal experience here.

I didn't say anything about molesting children. You are confusing my comment there with someone else's. I'm also not calling anyone names.

At the very _best_ what I'm describing are inefficiencies in our system, and anyone who's working for that system is part of the problem.

Not defending him, but I would imagine people in his position play and pay to both parties.
And for those of us that are colorblind, it’s not terribly useful.
This is just one of the many problems with the TSA: their policies are randomly and inconsistently enforced.
>probably already hate their job

These are people who chose to opt into a career where they perpetuate security theater on to millions of fellow citizens, waste our time, offer no tangible benefit, and collect a paycheck and pension for the privilege of doing so.

I _hope_ they hate their job.

This is a joke right? The author is talking about evil spirits and demonic possession as being legit diagnosis as a board certified psychiatrist. He should lose his license.

>Is it possible to be a sophisticated psychiatrist and believe that evil spirits are, however seldom, assailing humans

No. No it is most certainly not.

>Fundamentalist misdiagnoses and absurd or even dangerous “treatments,” such as beating victims, have sometimes occurred, especially in developing countries. This is perhaps why exorcism has a negative connotation in some quarters.

It has negative connotations because it’s make believe and hog wash.

>One cannot force these creatures to undergo lab studies or submit to scientific manipulation; they will also hardly allow themselves to be easily recorded by video equipment, as skeptics sometimes demand.

If you can’t measure, study and quantify something, it isn’t real.

The major problem with biking in the US, is cyclists are not first class citizens. Having lived in The Netherlands for two years and Portland Oregon (which has a fairly progressive bike culture) for sixteen years, there is no comparison.

There is no political or financial willpower to make the kinds of changes that would make cycling more pervasive and safe for both drivers and cyclists in the US.

CoreOS rkt also looks like a good competitor to docker.
Can you give examples as to why it’s better vs Docker?

That looks incrediblely dangerous. They should be locked up for life for possessing such terrible means of mass destruction.
So called odd meter time signatures are not “tricks” and labeling them as such is a bit of a stretch. Most music is composed in 4/4, four beats in a measure with the quarter note getting the down beats. It’s so often used it’s called Common Time[0]. But there exists many other meters in most genres of music. Do you want fifteen beats in a measure with the eighth note getting the down beat? No problem!

In this video Harry does seem to do this on purpose as a little musical joke with the audience, and I’m sure that’s what the title refers to.

That’s a paltry sum to exchange for 17 years.

Is this the supposed bitcoin author?
The Streisand Effect is real and hopefully for AntiPolygraph this just gives them a wider audience.

>Even in Europe where trains are icons, try taking a train from Marseille to Geneva. It’s an 8 hour trip requiring two connections. It’s a 45 minute flight at a similar cost.

While I’m sure you could take that long and transfer that many times, I see a direct 3.5 hour trip for €65

You can’t really compare train travel in the US to that of Europe. The US is gigantic in comparison, Amtrak doesn’t own many of the rails they use and get delayed as a result, and airport security is atrocious to say the least.

If you’re looking at the total time to fly, getting to the airport early, going through the funhouse of “security” and then waiting for your luggage, I would imagine it’s not just 45 min.

Regarding your original title, did you change it?

I won't be upgrading anytime soon. This is disappointing as one of the features I really liked was it was a single pay for the current version. The next version would be an upgrade and personally I would pay for that.

There are alternatives like GitLens built into VS Code that will be getting a second look from my self.
