Get rid of all these garbage social media (government honeypots) platforms that leak all your data every other weak.
Use Zero-knowledge proofs for authentication into distributed web apps.
Use BitTorrent file system to distribute data to prevent a single point of failure where all your data is leaked.
I could go on and on.
I eventually gave this psychopath my password because I had nothing incriminating and I hadn't eaten all day.
Nice to know USA is literally Nazi Germany but better at hiding their dirty secrets.
Oh wait, helping the poor doesn't make those holding stocks in these companies any money.
Maybe they can propulse their rockets with their politicians hot air.
They knew well ahead that this virus was spreading and did absolutely nothing to mitigate it early on. Even if this wasn't a lab leak, they still allowed it to spread by not shutting down airports early on (yet they knew where it was coming from).
People, please stop self censoring yourselves. These morons should be held accountable for the countless deaths they caused.
Here's an article going more in depth about the shadiness of this company:
https://www.technologyreview.com/2022/04/06/1048981/worldcoi...
And a quote at the end of the article by Edward Snowden:
“Don’t catalogue eyeballs. Don’t use biometrics for anti-fraud. In fact, don’t use biometrics for anything. The human body is not a ticket-punch.”
Theoretically, this can be mitigated permanently by disabling hyper-threading?
Try to explain that to string theorist. No wonder quantum mechanics isn't making progress. These new scientists just want to prove how smart they are, and not how little they actually know. Thus allowing them to make progress.
He then had an idea to rig the program so that he could be the one responding, but quickly dropped this idea as privacy concerns were raised by his colleagues.
People should be very cautious of giving their power over to machines that are, in the end, programmed by humans that seek power.
The nerve of this guy to call his company "Tesla" after a genius that could vividly model his ideas. A genius that invented radio, AC power to homes, etc.
"X" sounds so stupid and he picked it because it makes people think "his" things are bigger than they actually are. My advice is to not use his products as he'll only produce further garbage.
1. Force twitter, fb, blah blah to shadowban anyone that criticizes their lies
2. Backdoor any device made by Google, Apple, etc.
3. Warrantless wiretap
4. Shove out more lies and goto step 1.
These patriot act type laws are just there to normalize their spying crimes in your eyes. Also to make people self censor themselves from criticizing their government.
No they don't prevent any sort of attacks because the attackers wouldn't be stupid enough to talk over their personal phones.
Let that sink in. They take away your privacy while not preventing any big attacks.
I know that C is a beautiful language and Rust is ugly but at some point we have to realize that humans are error prone and will always produce buggy C code.
As for Rust dependency issues, here's a very simple article for beginners:
https://marketsplash.com/tutorials/rust/rust-dependencies/
There's also the cargo tree command to find duplicate dependencies:
cargo tree --duplicates
By far more better than the dependency hell that is Node.js :D
Can we stop pushing this false narrative about Rust being sooooo overly complicated? The real reason this narrative is pushed is because lazy developers don't want to take the time to learn a language that forces them to think. Yes I said it. Most of these developers want to go on autopilot just copying/pasting code from others and not even think about security in the slightest.
Rust is actually really shallow in what you have to learn to write safe code.
For me, languages like JavaScript, python, and C++ are the real complicated languages. Which is why I haven't "learned" (is that even possible) them.
Is it really so hard for open source hardware to become a thing?
I'd trade in my iPhone for something built using RISC-V or MIPS ISA with all software written in Rust any day.
Lastly, why aren't open hardware satellites built so that people can pay for internet that doesn't route through U.S. Datacenters?
Very lastly, why not not build completely decentralized web apps were all your data is encrypted and distributed so that censorship isn't possible?
"Ohhhh no but then all the bad guys will use it." Yeah well you can't censor and monitor an entire planet just because of a couple bad seeds. The bad guys also use language as a form of communication. Will we also make words illegal in the future?
