The New York Times created Digits, a fun math puzzle game, but then recently decided to discontinue it. A friend asked me to recreate it so he could continue to play it with his daughter.

Re:ScrabWordle – Wordle with a Scrabble Twist on Monday March 14, 2022 @06:49PM (#30679543)
ScrabWordle is basically Wordle but with the added element of having the target word's scrabble score given as a clue. This is a big help as you narrow down which letters can and can't be used.

A strategy is to eliminate/identify many of the 1 point leters and then from there it's easier to figure out which of the higher point value letters to use.

Re:A Wordle clone with options for 3-7 letter words on Friday January 07, 2022 @03:13PM (#29844121)
I made a wordle clone because I wanted to play more than once a day and also to try it with different length words. Definitely changes the game if you play with 3-4 letter words or 6-7 letter words.
not entirely sure why people need to point out that it's not cash. Most wealthy people don't stuff $100 bills in their mattress. They own stock and real estate.

Do people think Bill Gates doesn't have a lot of MSFT stock, or Warren Buffet doesn't own a lot of Berkshire stock?

He apparently sold $10 billion dollars worth of Tesla stock last month and didn't impact the price of the stock.
