Long time ago (10+ years) I'd occasionally google something and find an older blog solution post on my own blog. It is hard to maintain both the revelance and the practice to maintain these over the course of life.

Cash can be both capital and operating funds. They may want to keep certain debt ratios and are not worried about impact on net income.
Re:Writing down what I do – in Obsidian on Wednesday November 09, 2022 @01:20AM (#33528069)
I use the sync feature, but its not required. There are several tutorials for using got with a community plugin or an alternative like syncthing.

Its just text after all. Which is the point of using Obsidian.

Paying for sync is like paying to support the software development. Which is worth doing for Obsidian. Plus I find it useful. I am on the older lower rate.

Duplicacy has worked well for several years on both my wife's and mother's laptops. Doesn't require much work and just keeps operating.

My accounting system is written in Tk/TCL. Works well.
I use four areas. BUY, MOVE, STORE and SUPPORT.

The first three relate to your areas - procurement, logistics, operations. The last is things like quality control and Master data.

Revenue I think. They have a full time farmer. I don't have all the details, but I think it's main focus is education and as a model.
OMG Garden in Auckland is an urban garden that produces 1000NZD per week in commercial produce sales. They think they can get to 1400 per week.

Small <500 sqm plot between buildings.

They have full time farmer.

Exploit required specific combination of software and config lines. MIAB didn't have those lines.

That's not to say another similar exploit might have worked a different way. Luckily that bug is patched now.

Will also be driven by demand. EVs are already cheaper to operate. If they are also cheaper to produce and support, then the alternative is not competitive.

The result is then just delayed by historic capital and reallocation.

Re:Samsung ends mobile phone production in China on Thursday October 03, 2019 @03:02AM (#21144440)
Europe was after China last time. For example, Marco Polo. Opium War was pretty much China to Europe as well. Brits stole tea and gave it to the Indians as a cash crop.
Re:Jet fuel from thin air: Aviation's hope or hype? on Wednesday October 02, 2019 @02:29PM (#21139369)
Cost of renewables is falling fast. Getting close to 1c per kWh.
One of the theories is that putting the caps and other mechanic actions cause friction and create the particles.

Many water pipes in houses are plastic. Would be interesting to see studies on tap water.

Less parts should also mean a more productive manufacturing process.
China is now not really a low cost labour source.

It is mainly a supply chain nexus.

Could this process work at grid scale as a power storage for renewable energy?
