Also, there are two different keyboard layouts where you fly with wasd or with arrow keys, and then bullets/bombs on opposite hands

Hey all, SubSpace has been my favorite game since I was a kid playing it in 1997, and its always been a dream of mine to rebuild it for the browser so I could play from any OS and enjoy with others instantly. another project to take a look at for schema-driven approach to writing backend services and fully code-generated clients: https://github.com/webrpc/webrpc

it's similar to OpenAPI, but its simpler, and cleaner. In fact, you can generate webrpc schema's to OpenAPI and then generate OpenAPI clients.
