What is the privacy concern vs a weight loss tracker?
Re:How to Earn a Billion Dollars on Sunday June 14, 2026 @09:13PM (#48535257)
I think you'll find its not billionaires stopping that, its elected officials.
I cant recall a war in my lifetime (45 years) where is has been impossible to have any idea of damage. Very little coming out of Iran, very little out of the US.

The whole conspiracy around the downed airman https://www.afr.com/world/middle-east/a-ruse-to-snatch-urani... only adds to it.

In terms of artistic merit, it reminds me of https://gillieandmarc.com/collections/sesame-street-drop

Technique is undoubtedly interesting, but content....

How would you argue that more than one arrest is fair in a modern democracy? Can you even point to an arrest where it passes the pub test?
Yes, the ISS as a sadistic Christof

I've read it twice. Once as a naive 16-year-old. Once, as a young father. Profoundly upsetting the second time.

I've tried to have AI generate these types of visual instructions from text without luck. Perhaps it was the IKEA-style guide I needed.
Re:Exit Tax: Leave Germany before your business gets big on Thursday August 07, 2025 @10:03PM (#44832645)
I dont see how you couldn't structure this with an offshore licensing deal. Ie Irish company picks up 99% of billing, German company sends Irish company license fees etc and reduce profit of German company to zero for three years.

I would have to suspect there are more US NRO ones that aren't listed. Misty and her descendants would like a word.
https://www.neilobrien.co.uk/p/the-confluence?utm_medium=ios Tyler Cowen posted this last week, I was completely shocked by it. Worth reading on the state of the UK in general.
what is the best plastic to print these lenses from? I've found over time all of the clear prints I've don't suffer from UV degradation.

You should sell this as a kit, really impressive!
Thanks Peter. With an American wife, and an Australian Passport, what would you recommend as the best path to move to the US?

Re:We created a fake delivery company to get a job on Friday July 19, 2024 @03:58PM (#41010478)
What are they actually selling? Their website, https://www.outstandly.com/, is a single landing page with "Creative solutions for boring problems."

Here is a boring problem, creatively show me your work.

Thanks, I guess I was wondering if there was a specific best in class for the nylon stickers? Same with tracking software?
Re:The Vicuñas and the $9k Sweater on Sunday March 17, 2024 @09:29PM (#39739703)
I toured the Loro Piana mill in Roccapietra a few years back. Highlights include the cashmere carpets they make for gulfstream, the Scottish nettles they brush fabrics with and the five story storage bins that run an automated elevator call back system.

It was very impressive.

Sure it is even more so since it was purchased by LVMH.

Could you model this and fly it in Microsoft Flight Sim?

I think its hard to beat Misty for best looking satellite. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Misty_(satellite_program) an eavesdropping Paul McCarthy tree in Paris.
