Who owns the trademark on that?
So they want to build it in space. Trade one heat problem for another, but put it completely out of range (for most attackers).
I'm the author (and poster). If anyone has any questions, feel free :)

So now as a planet we have to curb greenhouse gasses in the US _and_ China or India or whatever.
Everybody comes into information in different ways. There were no comments here about this specific aspect of the story - which is definitely interesting!
I don't understand why I'm getting downvoted, I'm not posting an opinion. Coincidences happen. So does foul play. No judgement call here.
I heard a rumor (on instagram, so YMMV) that the professor who was closest to solving this problem had only weeks ago used Codex, which had slurped up all his notes on the subject. Now OpenAI's agents solve the problem. If it's true that seems like quite a coincidence.

Came here to say exactly this. If you’re not writing the code (or especially reviewing it) then we need stronger type systems and more checks and fewer legal programs. Might as well move all the way to Idris or some not-yet-invented language that humans would find very restrictive.
Congrats to the Rust-GPU folks! Nice to see the good work flowing.
Is it normal for a company this big to make a public blog post like this with almost no introduction to what they’re on about?
I would expect them to start out with something like Apple is suing us for yada yada yada, but instead it reads like the diary of a hurt teenager.
And then on the side they sell "metadata" to insurance companies and anyone else willing to pay...
They need to get sued _hard_ and lose millions, as well as have cops put in jail before real change happens. I feel sorry for this kid but he's doing the right thing.
Just have an agent chug on a side-project for you, or set up a CI script to review every pull request or some similarly “helpful” task. That should eat a lot of tokens!
So do all sexually reproducing species’ conception create souls? Or is it just a blessed few? What about asexually reproducing species?
References for this claim?
It’s interesting how many more community reported data centres there are compared to operational and proposed. I’m wondering if this is because of over reporting? Like - does the public mistake any new, big building as a data centre, or are the other categories under reported (or something else)?
Better not think a forbidden thought. Oh shoot! You just did! :)
Have you tried qwen3.5 running locally? It’s quite “good enough”.
But how is ki like rust, and why is that significant? Helix is pretty rad, even if what you say is true.

Why even should they be allowed to contract an action that they themselves cannot perform - even _with_ a warrant? Is that not still "doing" the action?
Can you substantiate these claims with with anything? What unlawful DoJ demands has Apple given in to? Anthropic is still very early in their trajectory compared to Apple with its ~50 year run, so it's not exactly an Apple to apples comparison.
I’ve been using Claude through opencode, and I figured this was just how it does it. I figured everyone else did it this way as well. I guess not!
I’ve been following Mr. Doob since the flash days. Cool to see they’re still doobing cool things.
I've been working on Renderling — an open-source, GPU-driven real-time renderer in Rust targeting both native and web (via WebGPU).
I just signed a Memorandum of Understanding with NLnet (NGI0 Commons Fund) for a second year of funding to build out the Renderling ecosystem. The big shift this year: moving away from Rust-GPU and going all-in on WGSL.
I'm building wgsl-rs, a proc macro crate that lets you write WGSL shaders in a subset of Rust — same code runs on the CPU for testing and on the GPU via generated WGSL. Works on stable Rust, no custom toolchains needed.
The funded roadmap also includes podecs, a GPU-accelerated ECS where systems run as compute shaders, a Rend3-compatible API layer (for folks looking for a path forward from Rend3), and ultimately real-time global illumination via a GPU ray tracer.

Because it is not the same deportation policy.
The Republicans this term have gotten plenty done, it's just nothing that helps average people. Their wins can't be widely celebrated and so they aren't, as much.
