In the past month, I have been building Phantasm. Phantasm offers toolkits to create a human approval layer for AI agents which allows teams to monitor and guide the workflow of their AI agent in real-time. It is fully open-source and comes with a server and a custom web-based dashboard.
I built this because I was working with a team building AI-powered CRM with a feature to update a deal data based on a sales call automatically using LLM. We received feedback that the result was not satisfying which lead us spending weeks to build similar system internally.
Phantasm is still very early and I would love to hear feedback from the community to improve the project!
Thank you in advance.
For example, this is the PR in OasysDB by one of our contributors compared to theirs: https://github.com/oasysai/oasysdb/pull/43 https://github.com/Sahomey-Technologies/sahomedb/pull/9
I will definitely try to contact them either via the repo issue or their Discord.
What should I do when someone blatantly copy my open-source project on GitHub?
Hi HN,I created an open-source vector database a couple months back called OasysDB. It's not a popular project but it serve a specific use case and has a small community behind it.So, recently, someone in the community sent a link to me about a repository that after digging deeper into it seems like a blatant copy of OasysDB v0.4 (It's now v0.7). They changed all of the initial branding and...
I got my first Rust job doing open-source
In the past 4 weeks, I joined a program called Backdrop Build, a hackathon/incubator program for builders like myself. In this program, I worked on OasysDB, a lightweight embedded vector database.
This is a demo of OasysDB that I used as a submission that got OasysDB picked as a finalist. I just want to share this to the web in case someone is building an image search system. OasysDB, by itself, is very flexible and can be used for almost every vector related use case like RAG paired with LLM.
Let me know your thought in the comments if you have any.
I built an image search in less than 100 lines of code with HF and OasysDB
Show HN: OasysDB, Storing vectors for RAG in Rust simplified
https://github.com/oasysai/oasysdb
Hi hackers, this is Edwin and I'm building OasysDB, a SQLite-inspired embedded vector database in Rust. My goal is to simplify the process of storing vector embeddings while still having high performance with simple APIs.Currently, it's only available in Rust via "cargo add oasysdb" command. But, I'm working to make it interoperable with Python ASAP. If you want to test it out, simply head to...
Show HN: OasysDB rewritten as embedded and efficient vector database
https://github.com/oasysai/oasysdb
OasysDB is now available as Rust crate which you can add using "cargo add oasysdb" command. OasysDB supports incremental update on the collection index by default. This means, you can insert, modify, or delete vector records without rebuilding the index.Context OasysDB was initially written with client-server architecture. We pivoted and rewrote it as embedded vector database.Feedback will be...
Show HN: OasysDB, multi-index support key-value vector database
https://github.com/oasysai/oasysdb
Merry christmas and happy new year, everyone!I want to introduce my latest open-source vector database project, OasysDB. The main feature that sets it apart from other vector database is that it supports multiple indexing graphs of a single key-value store. This functionality allows you to version the index, create different graphs for different subset of data, and test different optimization...
