Re:Management is forcing us to use AI on Tuesday September 29, 2026 @02:33PM (#49898214)
Depends on how you use it. Look for use cases where it can reduce work. For instance let's say you usually have poor requirements. You can build a tool to help users properly flesh out their wants. I built a prototype for fun (https://daid-sandy.vercel.app) for stuff like that. Could use it to create documentation templates and let it do the heavy lifting Could also use it as a code critic. You build out a design for an integration or new app and then you can let the AI tool murder board it.

Re:Ask HN: Dead Internet on Thursday September 24, 2026 @05:10PM (#49836763)
It really sucks. It makes sharing your useful or nuanced thoughts a waste of time.
Those are astronomical figures to be honest. Unless someone shows you their books, skepticism should be the default
Re:LinkedIn is a terrible quality website on Thursday September 24, 2026 @05:07PM (#49836737)
It is slow and buggy. They are trying to do a lot and it is coming off poorly
Re:Ask HN: Where is all of the AI coded software? on Wednesday September 16, 2026 @02:22PM (#49730951)
The tools exist but they do not have any distribution. Underlying reasoning is why would i switch to your product. Hacker news, twitter and linkedin only represent a tiny sliver of humans.
YC is not the general public. You can still build games without AI or having Ai being the main focus. Make it wacky, crazy or something someone would not expect. Have better storytelling. Better yet design a game for something that no one would expect but has great game mechanics and storytelling
If you want to reduce the abuse the add a price layer

Still a work in progress but decided to shelve it as there is a better tool that does what I need
Re:Ask HN: Manager Blueprint on Friday August 14, 2026 @01:31PM (#49301922)
Main influences are Peter Drucker and Mark Horstman.

An effective manager is one who helps the team to succeed (engaged and happy) and aligns that with meeting organizational objectives

Could be a number of factors here but my take is lack of knowledge and lack of teaching

Re:Why are we choosing AI for just repetitive jobs? on Monday August 10, 2026 @05:07PM (#49249741)
to be fair it may not be the best two for repeatable processes. You have tools like RPA

Ask HN: Manager Blueprint

I am building out a SaaS that focuses on helping managers become effective managers faster. It would be a mix of templates if you want to have one of items or a guided management practice to help you level up. If you are interested or know someone that is interested DM me
