lower cost lol how -- effective price is like 4 cents / m in on openrouter with cache hits.
1 bit would be cool!
anyone know how you can build a water-resistant phone with a removable battery?
how about you lower the cost of power first

So could you tunnel out with ipv4 connecting over http2 to cloudflare ?
if you have an account on a porn site you were a lost cause anyways.
cool stuff, good thing about lua is you avoid the headache of people asking for NPM package support
Re:TypeScript is Like C# – A Backend Guide on Saturday November 22, 2025 @06:33AM (#46013966)
This is essentially how we write our NestJS backend at work, nice guide.
why deprecate it? clients will just use newer standards if supported.
Re:The AI valuation bubble is now getting silly on Friday October 10, 2025 @03:41AM (#45536277)
the reason I don't really stress about valuations any more is the m2 US money supply has grown 20% in the last 5 years, cumulative inflation over last 5 years is ~24%, assets have no ceiling because fiat has no floor. -- you hear 4t now but thats 3t from 5 years ago.
Re:Covid-19 sent the world mad on Saturday August 23, 2025 @05:53AM (#44994732)
no shit
Nope, I have done it though. The UK govt is making us all upload identity documents to every website so I figured all these sites may as well have all my information.
Best of luck! Seems to fill a niche.
Re:Are you in a mid-career to senior job? Don't fear AI on Saturday August 09, 2025 @09:30AM (#44846311)
I find that the people who use AI the most should be using it the least. Non tech people and juniors trying to program. And so on
I’ve got “You're absolutely right” PTSD from LLMs now
Re:GPT-5-reasoning alpha found in the wild on Saturday July 19, 2025 @08:51AM (#44615086)
cant wait for how mid this is going to be.
opencode with kimi-k2 is my backup just in case claude is down or I hit the limits on the max 20x plan.
using claude code is absolutely incredible sometimes and absolute junk other times. great for easy to mid complexity refactors. ask it to do anything decently complex and it explodes. It's taken the place of a junior dev for me now. well worth the $200/mo.
Re:Why the Upper Middle Class Isn't Special Anymore on Wednesday July 16, 2025 @05:32AM (#44580362)
Same idea of how earning six figure s isn’t too impressive any more, the value of fiat is falling off a cliff and we aren’t moving the definitions upwards.
Re:Ask HN: Is your company forcing use of AI? on Tuesday July 01, 2025 @03:01AM (#44431320)
The place I work seems to be open to the fact that its not an all seeing, all knowing force in the world. Though we do use it as a quicker search engine.

I've heard of companies that are shoehorning it into everything, I feel this is many companies just playing the game to get better valuations.

verilog for PCBs?

He's a linguist, I feel those are decent credentials to speak on it. Thats besides the point, anyone should be allowed to speak on anything, it's up to you to decide if you want to care about what they're saying.
