I remember you guys from Startup Weekend Amterdam!
Good job on making your app happen!
How did you guys send emails? SaaS? Your own thing, if so then how did you make sure you didn't end up in 'spam box'?
They aren't anymore. I've lived both in Poland and countries in western EU, Netherlands be one example, and honestly everyday product prices are very similar. The major difference is housing although Poland is very similar to Berlin housing wise, now compare the average salaries...
My fiancee will be posting up updates on IndieGoGo site about that definitely :)
The regular ones work well enough for me. I know my fiancee's already talking to some companies about producing a thin-tip marker especially for this.
Yeah, but rounded corners in phones :) not whiteboards.
Anyways the whole patent-thing is getting ridiculous.
That's a good one, haven't heard of this before.
Personally i think apple relaxed a bit from what they've been doing 3 years a go and have other things to worry about.
Besides the design of WhitePad matches a number of other products on the market not only an iPhone.

My fiancee came up with this idea looking at me and my co-founders sketching app UI's on a whiteboard. Now she needs to raise $6k usd to take it from a prototype to a real product. I'm using one and loving it!

Hey I like it! I thought a while ago about mashing up 8bit gfx and qr codes
There's a number of apps, for virtually any platform out there. I'm pretty sure that apart from tech scene QR codes are fairly recognizable.
Embedding logo is not a part of the spec, but demonstration that QR codes can be customized. In my experience (and i also have been involved in QR code related startup) these don't take longer to process as long as you don't go over the certain point with customizing the code. It's all about finding the right balance.
Yeah me too! That's why we did QRCodesDoneRight.com and hope that at least ONE person will learn from this :)
How about that Tesco campaign in South Korea?
Thanks for spotting the typo - fixed!
I still see a lot of scenarios/places where QR codes would work if used correctly.

After reading a number of QR-code-fail blogs we decided to put together a super simple and super condensed guide on how to use QR codes right.
