yep
"Taxes" The classic an all-answer and all-solver of ignorant people. Bigger government is what you are saying.

Every time it only burdens the working class; the poor just want things gifted to them; the rich get richer. A 2v1 game.

Also may prove that earth was covered with water sometime ago, like Bible and many other legends around the world say.
Nothing is "inconvenient truths" from what you said, you've just showed yourself as an ignorant fool, that's all.

At least try and read half the article next time before engaging in conversation.

it is a red flag indeed. They route orders to market makers that profit from arbitrage (not exchanges), and other shady stuff.
That's why there is a legal system in place for disagreements, not at the discretion of some corporation.

It is tyrannical, voices of concerned are silenced, it is wrong, it is evil.

"Independent", Satire right?! Haven't you heard of PRISM? or 'patriot act'?

The biggest concerned, i believe, most people have with censorship is that "they censor and at the same time claim to be a 'platform' not 'publishers'".

It would be 'ok', if they say who they 'are', not pretend to be open and at the same time silence voices who they disagree with by pretending to 'fact check'. 'Fact check' what? Peoples conversations? For what reason? Then it should, at least, be voluntary. You see the concern people have, right?!

I'm baffled how people support this behavior from big tech. It almost seems like they think of themselves as immune to this somehow, like little sheep unable to comprehend that they themselves once will deviate will get the same treatment (assuming they have spine to stand for what they believe).
Indeed. It is awfully targeting one side only.

So, biased and made up things get promoted around here?!

The name is very cringey... also, the spelling throughout the website. Involve politics too, 'nice'.
Re:Section 230 is Good, Actually on Saturday December 05, 2020 @03:41PM (#25318126)
No because Freedom of Speech is a fundamental individual right. It should never be limited or restricted. A strong country will prevail over abusers in this case (think when America abolished slavery, segregation...). It is a compass for long term survival.
Re:Section 230 is Good, Actually on Saturday December 05, 2020 @06:47AM (#25313831)
It is good, but also it can be, and is being, heavily abused. It is too much power to already mega-powerful corporations.

Well, this is the reason there are so many versions. Copyright on the best seller book of all time.

From my research, they didn't catch them in the act of selling, it's an err and abuse from authorities.
"Use it as it suits you on your own responsibility." DMCA abuse.
Exactly! From what i have seen, the governments are acting, even in my country with only 3 confirmed cases, the schools are already shut down. It is media that amplify the panic so that no matter what governments do it seems not enough.
They can but not when they publicly declare that they are fair to all users when in fact they make their policies after a political agenda. Much has been uncovered by whistleblowers from big tech companies.
