Re:How To Validate Your Business Idea By Testing A Hypothesis on Tuesday August 12, 2014 @08:46AM (#8167502)
It's quite difficult to validate an idea, after FFF approved it and when you start development. In our startup we found it quite difficult to find the resources, where our target audience is located.
nice article, why don't bosses read it?
Re:Legal basics for startups, complete DIY guide: Vesting on Thursday July 03, 2014 @05:41PM (#7986016)
this is a good question. basically the total amount of shares are reserved for you (in the example - 50%)-no new shares are issued. in the article I provided our(Staply) vesting procedure-if I or my partner leaves the company, he gets a certain percentage of the total amount of shares in accordance with Vesting, other shares destroyed, so the stake of each remaining shareholder increases proportionally to the amount of destroyed shares. in the article you can find example of the statements. however, vesting is quite flexible procedure and you can easily put the procedure, described in your comment

All these questions I plan to answer in this blog. Personally, I couldn’t find a blog like you had described and that is why i decided to focus on these topics in our own blog.

That’s true. However in some cases it can be difficult to agree on the voting conditions with other founders. If you agree on voting, make sure that you describe the procedure of voting: who can start the voting event, who will prepare a result of the voting, what will be in case when votes for both variants are equal, etc. I think  we’ll prepare a separate article about it.

You're right, but if you follow the recomendation, it wont hurt the startup company. Because it's better than nothing.
Re:Ask HN: What projects are you working on? on Saturday June 28, 2014 @01:43PM (#7958761)
Working on my start-up "Staply https://www.staply.co " - smart messenger for groups. From user prospective - it is a web-based dropbox folder with messenger. Planning to participate in next YC.
