Yes, AVIRIS is the instrument that was used to take the data for that paper. Same group.
You can post snarky comics and point and laugh, but that's not exactly helping the resistance. The event is being cosponsored by a reproductive health provider, Women's Health Specialists. Are they just a bunch of Tech Bros and chumps for participating?

The office isn't in McLean anymore, it's been moved to Georgetown. Much hipper.

No, seriously, why is this even worth spending time on? WTF? This isn't even amusing. It's just random.

San Francisco (Remote okay) | full-time | http://mocobe.co | Front end developer and designer

After working for five years at Palantir, I decided to leave to work on a project that I think will make a huge social impact as well as an incredibly viable business model: delivering drug and alcohol abuse therapy to those who need it most. The vast majority of substance abuse sufferers receive treatments that are not scientifically validated. Mocobe will take the latest scientific research and use it to deliver treatment on the web and by mobile device, to bring low cost, high effectiveness treatment into hospitals, prisons, schools, and the courts. We have seed funding, a CTO, free co-working space from Homebrew, and a scientific advisory board. All we need is you: One more talented front-end dev, ideally with experience in React and Meteor, and a designer. Get in on the ground floor in a business that will make you want to get up in the morning to help someone. Contact us at [email protected]. And read our whitepaper here: http://mocobe.co/whitepaper.html

You're right, it's geocoding it to "Pebble Island". The format isn't standard, so it just geocodes the first place name it finds :)

I put together a leaflet map of all the jobs here: http://drmattyg.github.io/html/index.html

It extracts the headers and geocodes the locations. Feedback welcome!
