Because they own and control their own smart contracts but do not own the network that the contracts are deployed to.

Plus, freezing funds and waiting for US law enforcement to weigh in rather than being the proverbial judge, jury and executioner is now likely to keep you on the right side of said law enforcement.

How are you guaranteeing that your private stablecoin will keep its $1 value?

How are you bootstrapping a network to validate private transactions without the promise of potential gains in coin value as its popularity takes off?

I would argue that using an older model and assuming that it is the cutting edge is basically equivalent to holding it wrong

Assuming we are measuring time and

`total = dev + review`

If dev approaches zero, but you review at the same pace as you always have, are you in a better position? Yes.

Will you potentially have a backlog of code waiting for review? Also yes.

Would you prefer to be waiting for the dev team for all of the time instead, then still have the same amount of reviewing to do at the end of it? Absolutely not.

Why do you even need a second model for that? There are many simpler ways to slow down the rate that the near-immediate response is pseudo-typed onto the screen.

But could it be that formerly unrealistic levels of exposure has normalised these things that always existed, and now they are mainstream and affecting kids __due to social media__ ?
It was originally payments owed to Dutch interests in America being converted to gold and stored locally on their behalf, as opposed to having to be transported across the Atlantic back to the Netherlands.

Then later the Dutch moved a lot more of their gold over there before/during WWII in order to keep it out of reach of the Nazis.

I dunno... people keep telling me books are good but that isn't my experience

Just like when a do a search and the results aren't relevant

Obviously this means both books and web searches are useless

I assume you could set up a "walking" journey with multiple stops as waypoints on your phone then when you press start your watch should pick it up and give you the direct route between each waypoint. Not sure if that would sufficiently provide what you were hoping for.
Add "ok" to this list as well - "oll korrect"

Note that the polymarket skill was for using it as a research source, not for placing wagers, and has since been removed as part of a larger streamlining of the included set of skills.
Ah the classic Scunthorpe problem
Did you ever consider that the crypto scammers might not be the same people as the crypto freedom folks? It wasn't one grand trick by a collective of genius con artists... Much like the cashier at the store isn't to blame for that guy calling your grandma and trying to trick her into sending money from her bank account.

Re:I've Seen a Thousand OpenClaw Deploys. Here's the Truth on Saturday April 11, 2026 @05:46AM (#47729103)
I can have multiple conversations on multiple topics always accessible via different discord channels, all with a shared memory, without that memory being held in a continually degrading context window.

One channel - reminders for medications, and recording my dosage. Another - "research this fancy new tech thing for me". Another - "let's continue work on that side project we started last week". And then in another - "create a dashboard of my meds dosage using that fancy new tech thing we were talking about yesterday". And of course finally "any urgent emails this morning?".

All without finding, creating, or setting up multiple apps or scripts for each individual task. If I have another idea, I just tell it what I want it to do, or ask it how we can make it happen.

Hards on
Also think of how LLMs are replacing web searches for most people - Google would have been cannibalising their Search profits for no good reason

Ethos is already building something similar, but starting with a focus on reputation within the crypto ecosystem (which I think most can agree is an understandable place to begin)

Re:Saying Thank You to the NHS, Using Clojure on Tuesday May 05, 2020 @07:30AM (#23078857)
So you're saying that government investment in the NHS has refused to keep pace with the population increase, when both the investment requirements and the taxation income can be assumed to be reasonably proportional to population size? Seems like either incompetence or malevolence to me.

Either way, yes you are 'technically correct' that you didn't mention per capita. Hope that gives you the warm fuzzy feeling you're looking for. Well done!
