Show HN: Termitty – Open Source Terminal Automation Framework (Selenium for SSH)

https://github.com/Termitty/termitty

Hey HN!I built Termitty because I was tired of the hacky solutions I kept writing for SSH automation. While building my workflow automation SaaS, I had this seemingly simple requirement: workflows needed to execute tasks on remote servers, not just in browsers. Selenium made the browser part elegant - you could wait for elements, handle dynamic content, maintain session state. But for SSH? I was...

Show HN: I built a YC data scraper in under 5 minutes

Hi HN,I'm an indie hacker who built Autonoly solo over the past 3.5 months. I essentially vibe coded the entire platform based on automation needs I encountered in my own work. I wanted to share a practical example of what it can do - creating a Y Combinator data scraper in just a few minutes without writing any traditional code. The technical approach is straightforward but effective:1. Browser...

Hi all,

Diving straight into it: After 16 months of juggling a day job and pouring passion into a side project, my brother and I have hit a new milestone with our no-code tool, we’ve reached $5K in revenue. It’s all about making customer interaction simpler through AI-powered chatbots, minus the coding headache.

Here's a bit on our journey:

We kicked things off aiming to bridge a gap—enabling seamless business communication without the tech complexities. Our mantra? Keep it straightforward, yet impactful.

Our growth leaned heavily on the organic side, betting on SEO-optimized blog posts and to-the-point YouTube videos. It’s been a gradual climb, but the expanding user base through word-of-mouth and quality content has been truly rewarding.

16 months and $5K in, I’m reflecting on our pace. In the startup realm, it feels like a marathon. It’s a milestone for us, considering the work-life balance act, but I wonder, could we step on the gas with other growth strategies?

Moreover, this journey has been a tech boot camp for me. The next project seems less daunting, I've got a boilerplate ready, which feels like a secret weapon. XD Would any of you stick it out this long? Has anyone else found that persistence in one project paved the way for quicker launches down the road?

Would love to hear if you think it was worth the grind, or if there are other growth avenues we should explore. If you’ve got insights or advice on expanding beyond organic growth, I'm all ears.

Thank you for your insightful response. You make a good point that it's not necessarily unfair for companies to receive coverage on major tech publications like Techcrunch, as the process is not predetermined and success is not guaranteed.

However, it's worth noting that some companies may have more resources or connections to facilitate this kind of coverage, which can give them an advantage over others who may not have those same resources.
