Hey hot stuff. Same here. Hope you have a good day.
If that were true, the streets would be punctuated by shrill screams in reaction to the past decade of Republican spending.

The charger on the 4 both sucks and blows. Countless times I’ve taken it off the charger to find 0%.

The nice strap they showed in the adverts broke instantly when I took it out of the box. Two pins sheared right off the in the middle of the band.

WearOS Apps are trash.

I wish I had gone garmin. ;(

Re:CISA Alert: Water Sector PLC Targeting on Saturday August 01, 2026 @06:16PM (#49139022)
Upgrades to waste water are project based. Lowest bidder will not provide security for free. Security may be mentioned in spec but in hand waved language that can be hand waved away. That company doing the improvement project will have next to no documentation from the previous engineering effort. Just do bare minimum and move on to next job, because no one is getting paid enough to do put in more effort.
How can we get these things to fight each other for sport? Real battle bots

What about PI?
Because republicans continue to fight each other over how much they can lick authority boot. Gone are the days of fiscal conservatives or small government… no sir they are all on board for locking this place down.

You put one CO2 sensor in the return air duct and tie it to outside air control.
Re:"An AI Job Apocalypse?" – Goldman Sachs Report [pdf] on Thursday July 02, 2026 @09:29PM (#48769583)
Pid control was supposed to allow people that rotate valves to magically transform into software configurators. That never happened. Those people turned into janitors and an automated solution became a capital project. The janitorial staff gets fired in the end.

Oh this post again. Kind of made sense to repost it on the solstice, but why again and again and now?

If that’s your rationale for soft pedaling shock troops attacking American citizens, yes deeply flawed.
You can eat shit. A private investigator has a specific target and a specific complaint. The topic, blanket surveillance by a private company does not have either. Again, eat shit. Shame on you apologizing for this behavior.

How do they not have much to lose? They are the ones that have their users on a subscription basis.

Wasn’t room 641A just the NSA strong arming At&T to facilitate full take collection?

How is procurement process with Beckhoff? I am tempted to make the jump from mostly AB.
Re:Arduino PLC IDE on Thursday September 05, 2024 @05:18PM (#41460493)
Sure, call. Do a back and forth with calls and emails for two days with their sales guy to make sure they got it right. Spending five to six figures. 5-15% of order shows up incorrect.

When you go to try another distributor: No, you're in crappy vendor's territory. So, sorry!

Waiting for that invisible hand of the free market to step in...

Re:Arduino PLC IDE on Thursday September 05, 2024 @05:10PM (#41460433)
Cheap and reliable goods. Free software. Great prices. Decent Docs.

Best of all, no middle men distributors to dick around with. It is so easy to buy their stuff compared to almost all other controls hardware.

I see "pre-order" and "shipping winter '23"... :(
Hacked VFD firmware makes the most sense to me. The PLC/PAC is giving a reference of xx Hz, the hacked VFD overrides the speed reference to destroy the centrifuge but reports back that everything is tickety-boo.

Just switched my work phone to a flip phone. Fuck smart phones. My life and job aren't that important for immediate email updates.

I've got automated SMS texts for critical alarms. if something else is burning down, someone will call.

I miss email on my phone, but it just makes me use the phone for what it is for: Talking
