Overall, I think the language is great. Coming from C/C++ I have to say it's easy to get it to work. I haven't had the time to explore all of what the language has to offer yet, and I would like to dive more into performance-critical code to see how it behaves, but so far I had a good experience with it and might reuse it later for other projects!

I am a self-taught software engineer, focusing on low-level, high-performance software development, with experience in production environment delivering stable, fast and reliable software. I am interested in maths, computer graphics, compilers, programming in general, and I can get my hands on anything new language/tech very quickly and can adapt easily. Feel free to reach out!

Re:Ask HN: What Are You Working On? (October 2025) on Monday October 13, 2025 @11:44AM (#45569640)
A general utility library in C99, that I reuse throughout my different projects! Atm working on the json module and some f32 linear algebra https://github.com/romainaugier/libromano

I always learned programming and maths on my own so any advice is welcome!
