I'm sorry to hear that. We really strive to talk to everyone we can, and we are happy to hear all the stories from subscribers, or otherwise. Feedback, and more importantly, meeting with people is why we go to conferences.
Can you please remember at which GopherCon / year this happened?
I'm usually part of all the conferences teams and I can say that at conferences such as GopherCon US 2019, I speak daily with 200-300 people easily at the booth.
All of our booth staff is developers + myself (Developer Advocate) and from time to time we are joined by our Product Marketing Manager.
It's not an excuse for this type of reply, and I believe that nobody should be treated like this.

What kind of refactorings would you like to do but GoLand doesn't help with? I'd be interested in that kind of feedback. Thank you!

You can disable the indexing of the whole GOPATH as of 2018.1 and it will finish indexing a whole lot faster. See Settings | Go | GOPATH | Index entire GOPATH.

You assume that they care about Caddy and that the 9 lines of how to get LE for nginx is something they think it's hard to do for anyone that can't follow these instructions: https://gist.github.com/cecilemuller/a26737699a7e70a7093d4dc... or use: https://github.com/certbot/certbot

Excellent read about Go Assembly and how to use it. I'd love to see more on this, especially since assembly isn't something that often used, but after reading your post I can appreciate the overhead of having to maintain it in the future.
Thank you for the time put in the post about this.

IntelliJ is open-source as well and the Go plugin for it has been open-source for a long while as well :)
Re:Gogland – Capable and Ergonomic Go IDE

There are technical reasons for not doing that. Most important one being that it can do formatting on the fly and not have your cursor jump around when formatting. So your experience will actually be a whole lot better than any other editor.
And if they say that it's going to be on par with gofmt it will be on par with gofmt. Do consider that they might actually know what they are doing.

Re:Show HN: Accelerating SHA256 by 100x in Golang on ARM
on Thursday July 28, 2016 @01:11AM (#12178430)
Is this a general thing or a Go specific one? This generic statement seems to be false given how many optimizations that actually need assembly exist in Go and not only.

Debugging, cross-platform, integration with a lot of other languages, and databases, local history, out of the box configuration for everything you've just mention (including the Vim key working mode, via a plugin) so that people don't spend time in doing all of that and so much more :)

You can use the Go plugin for almost any IDE based on the IntelliJ Platform, that includes CLion and Android Studio. And the best of all, it's free. Give it a try by installing it: https://github.com/go-lang-plugin-org/go-lang-idea-plugin
