Used to work at a coroners office and the activity I saw on the sign out sheets for each persons autopsy file made me change my status from donor to not. The donor organizations (God bless them) just moved way too quick and came off as too thirsty for my taste. Not to mention (not that people would care) you look like a baseball the way you’re stitched after.
Incredible comment. I have always used a radar detector and Waze to speed pretty much whenever I want. Despite increasing attempts by state legislature to stop my speeding, I just learn more countermeasures. Keep in mind I’m talking about driving 85-90 on a 70mph straight interstate (i70) not flying thru a neighborhood
Moreover, the coming generation of cops don’t see speeding the same way older cops do, so yes you can’t speed, but in my state cops are rarely sitting in medians and doing enforcement (and definitely not going thru all the trouble to hide in the trees and risk their life to pull out on a highway), post Covid and with the new gen of cops it’s very noticeable. Savvy speeders know this, and the cops that are there are marked on Waze or are going to be detected by radar otherwise.
The rules are unwritten. Like you said, but beyond that - You can use signals intel (radar) and intel (Waze) in combo with situational awareness to avoid most situations where you’d get caught (most of the time) the decision to make this calculated risk and rely on your skills and equipment lets you avoid the law. Stuff like this happens with regulations all over I imagine
What’s your setup for fixed wing? I am trying to build a fixed wing that has a nice dji camera and good range but I’m not sure if it’s possible
Must work in a medical examiners office
There’s an app called song shift that works 90% well. It’ll transfer the music over from one service to another. Also you can export Apple songs to CSV using desktop iTunes
It locks our future knowledge to current biases and possibilities.
Another issue I see based on your comment is that segmenting based on locale (diverse mix in SF, white majority in Kansas) is that it can just take what knowledge and norms exist now and harden them.
It often does include such deliberations, if you watch state legislative committee videos on YouTube. If it doesn’t, often times a citizen is free to testify and raise the issue.
Many of these small clause discussions go on around amendments.
There is less deliberation on policies (rules) and regulations (how an agency decides to implement a passed law). There is deliberation of course but it is more opaque to the public and less record is made.
Whether it’s easy to do effectively by the public is another thing.
Can you give us a product list? I’d like to build a similar set up. What kind of cameras and what software are you running? Great setup
It’s not just you. That site is not consistent with any other US gov design language. It also looks cheap and like a QAnon conspiracy news site.
There are pirate streaming websites that stream from putlocker etc links to a media player embed
They have tons of ads and pop ups so blocker is needed.
I used to work for a state agency and there was a truck that delivered office supplies called "$STATE Correctional Enterprises", all the office furniture was made by prisoners. I didnt have a problem with that to be honest because the cost savings were benefiting the taxpayer in theory. I have also looked at many prisons on google maps and you will see tons of blue collar businesses (Cintas, Pitt Ohio etc.) within the perimeter road of the complex.
Addicted youth do have more unmet healthcare needs than youth without addiction.
Anecdotally: cardiologist, inpatient rehab, dental work, maintenance medication, labs/blood work, mental health meds/counseling, ER visits and ambulance rides, and more.
These are things that non-addict young people do not usually need unless they’re big athletes or suffer from serious trauma.
Having access to these things also improves the likelihood of a full recovery from addiction (IMO).
If one is to fill a rx meant for someone else (c2), ie someone diverts their legit RX to an addict who pays them and fills it
Does this data get linked with the addicts other rxs in their name
Can I connect an external hdd to the pi that isn’t running umbrel and use it to host the files shared via umbrel file browser?

I want to be able to use my raspberry pi to access my media drives from in and out the house, hopefully have some other tools like network monitoring and photo galleries and iOS integration.I liked how umbrel setup, but I am wondering if there is something less crypto focused? Umbrel used tailscale to connect which is I am fine with. Thanks.

We have a bunch of agencies that want us to host and run their r and python scripts, so they can use the outputs in BI tools. Is there a free way to take a wide variety of working scripts install dependencies for R and Python and then run each on a schedule and maybe support project folder and the like? Thanks.
Most cars there is a button or option to disable. I have this option on my fords. It’s there for example if you add a towing hitch there has to be a disable option somewhere in the menu stack.
Do they look at the traffic those devices are doing? Like if work laptop on home network can they see what websites Etc I visit on my mac?
Is there a form of passive blood pressure wearable? I am trying to find a way for my mom to track her BP throughout the day after meals etc. she does this with a libre for blood sugar
First hand story I was a weed smoker until the dealer had a half a Xanax bar. Struggled w that for the next 10 years…
I worked w these systems, lot of them don’t program more than 7th character in the wildcard search function. Most temp plates here are 8 chars.
First question I asked who is mayor of Baltimore and the police commissioner was completely wrong
Violent deaths are murder suicide and overdose per CDC programs in place at medical examiners
They do this in Baltimore, it’s called GVRS. They find and assign risk scores (related to arrest but also some other stuff) and go seek out the person, offer them help or threaten to come down hard on them if they commit crimes
The pilot had a homicide reduction of 30% iirc but we will see over time as it expands to whole city how it plays out
The 911 call data was for an address, he likely linked said address to tax data to get the property owner then did LinkedIn
search. Additionally could have used arrest data. 911 and arrest in my city don’t have names but by linkage via methods named it’s possible.
At most he used a radius for the 911 call to check possible names, and had a contact at SFPD or the courts to confirm once he had a name.
This is fascinating. I live in Baltimore and follow a lot of street connected profiles as sort of an OSINT information gathering hobby. I’ve always seen on instagram where said population has RIP in their bios sometimes for 6-7 people. Really puts it in perspective that in a high homicide rate area, if you’re in the network, your risk is almost Warzone (or higher) on a per capita basis
This is a great comment that comes from someone who is knowledgeable about local government. Same thing happens here In Baltimore. They call it poverty pimping, or poverty industrial complex
