Hamas is a known bad actor - with a variety of incidences discrediting their “reporting”.

Hamas is the elected body of Gaza. It also has over 75% support according to several polls post 10/7. By all means it represents the interest of Gaza’s people whether anyone wants to admit that or not.

They (Hamas) broke the first temporary cease fire several times. I highly doubt their sincerity.

The only people who are ardently anti Israel fall in a few camps: those addicted to tik tok and unable to discern propaganda from fact, those who are in fact antisemites and do not wish to allow for a Jewish homeland, or those completely oblivious to the history of this conflict.

Any rational person of western ideology, that isn’t myopically viewing this as some oppressed/oppressor academic generalization, gets why Israel must act the way they are acting.

I think you are missing the point of my question. I’m pointing out that not all opinions should be protected equally. Opinions of hate or violence are bad for society. I don’t understand why the suppression of those things is considered totalitarian? Especially when it comes from private enterprise.

Inciting violence should not be defended as free speech. In fact it’s not considered free speech. Let alone the fact the usage being blocked violates the very clear terms of service.
