Seriously downvotes? Lol. Terrible configuration and what a way to silence. At this point I’ll take my thoughts elsewhere. Enjoy your echo chamber.
Almost as if thoughts and reality are of the same thing.
How do we know this isn’t already happening with state actors?
Shows you where the role of a meme and a shit poster may exist in a cosmological technological hierarchy. Humans are just rendering notes replicating memes, man. /s in the dude voice from big Lebowski.
What if reality is basically a slightly more advanced form of This? Thoughts are generative finite infinite potentials and reality is the render. Interesting.

How can we define what "capable of consciousness" is? As we become a species closer to exploring the vast cosmos, we have to be humble in our assumptions of what consciousness or life is. It's quite a Copernicus error to think that humanity is the center of relative consciousness to compare against. What consciousness is may be entirely incommensurable - which would be a serious error in our discovery of what else exists in the universe.
There's a lot of wisdom in Star Trek: TNG, and it feels more prudent than ever to contemplate these lessons as we near the point of becoming space faring species.
Can you expand on that? What you're saying sounds interesting but it's vague or ambiguous.
This is an odd form of cross species slavery. It’s one thing to agree to the conditions and another to force it upon life.
This... has a lot to contemplate. Service dogs don’t agree but there is an essence of joy there. Can you feel a clams emotions? I guess at this point you get close to the contemplation of plant life.
There’s one thing to kill life and use it for food and then another to use it as a test for poison. There’s probably more nuances. I’m not taking a stance that any of these things are wrong. I am however trying to make sense of the consequences of these pieces of the architecture of life that we participate in.

In the end doesn't change much down that path...
This kinda misses the point of the core. 3D printing transfers power inward vs outward. When this happens innovation explodes as the average individual has much more ability to produce on their own. Localized manufacturing is a subtle huge boom similar to computation.
You articulated it quite well, torn between the low-level and high-level and I very much want to reach for the low-level first to start off with a foundation for solid first principles.
Your reply has helped given me direction and I appreciate the effort you put into it.
Thank you.

I'm struggling finding a path towards understanding the first principles in 3D rendering.I can find a lot of complicated books and tutorials that assume a bunch of things like OpenGL or Glad or C++ or Dynamically Linking library X Y Z and magically creating a scene but where is the "build it yourself" path?I essentially want to build my own "hello world" 3D engine to understand how to...
Bret Weinstein has much to say about that. I have been meaning to revisit his conclusions. Sorry I don’t have a more specific answer but I do remember very interesting things brought up by him.
Shiva’s coding practices are hardcore. Every 36 minutes the git repo is reset.

Northridge used to be prime gang territory 20 years ago. It’s changed for sure recently.
Yes. What’s an LA suburb? Haha.
For reference it was Loz Feliz. But I had further seen issues anywhere from Ktown to Santa Monica.
In Los Angeles the schools feel like jails in disguise. I was home schooled and arrested for being outside when I was 15. The cops didn’t trust I was homeschooled and said it’s illegal to be outside of school.
The schools even look like prisons at this point.
This is exactly the content I’m looking for. Thank you.
I realized I totally misremembered. I was thinking of the interview with Everlast. I apologize.
Yeah you’re right. I got confused with everlast come to think of it. I didn’t realize how similar they were until now. My apologies.
He has an interview with Joe Rogan that’s pretty interesting. You may enjoy it.
Basically describing the conditions of a majority on social media...
