Does it support root servers and / or is it planned?
And as tech guys we always wonder if the world is a better place with AI Agents taking over. My guess is that even gpt-3 would have come up with a better solution than this.
I think that's deepseek striking back.
On thing i often hear in the DDD universe: I do not want to know what the underlying database is doing. Just wanna safe my stuff. And so it goes that you have slow queries, both on sql and nosql databases because the programmer does not want to use the DB's own features correctly...
haha nice!! Thanks, i will introduce that to my kids :) They will probably hate me...
Back in those days there also was a game which i can barely remember: There were two monkey any you need to throw bananas at each others over or through skyscrapers... Does anyone know what game that was?
Any plans to change that statement in coming weeks?
"WunderGraph is 100% Open Source, coming soon!"
Afaik one big reason for this is that SAP supports only Suse with on-prem installations.
Is there any open source software that pulls out statistics out of those ad platforms into a spreadsheet or any other format?
They use consumer hardware, that's why they are so cheap.
To be honest, I often thought about creating such a device, I mysqlf had the same pain. I just can image how many non-tech guys struggle how to setup pi-hole. Time's the problem here though...
This is the only one i know as of today but it would not work in my setup here... I would prefer a "plain" pihole device: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/eblocker/the-first-plug...
In German we call that a Luftkurort. Google it.
Interesting topic but a paywalled article.
BTW: The first online store for notebooks i see that isn't filled with tons of javascript and overlays and all the stuff. That alone is a reason to buy one from them.
Thanks, I didn't know them.

I need a new notebook for work. Running ubuntu.
At least 32GB RAM and LTE. Are there any out there that are not designed for gamers, eg. thin and solid like the ThinkPad's?
I just ordered a complete Raspberry Pi Set to grab CAN BUS informations of my old landrover defender to send engine metrics to a remote sink on my synology nas at home. Maybe incl. gps tracking. Thats my plan :)
Analyzing the text is the problem. Not extracting. Are there any good open source libs out there?
Calico or Cilium? ;)
Compared to Cilium I would spontaneously say it's bpf and fqdn based network policies.
Another killer feature is that they can do networkpolicies on fqdns and not only on ips. That's not a new feature in 1.4 but outstanding though.
Tell me you don't work for them...
Thank you guys, I think that's the way I'm going for that. A app per OS.

Guys I want to create a menu-bar app, what framework does one use nowadays? It's pretty simple so I want it to run under Linux, Mac, and Windows. Any recommendations? I'm not a good coder of c++, something high-level would fit better, so I think QT is out of my scope right now...
If it's true that they own about 1k patents it may look like a sweet deal for some big pharma corporation to buy the whole company and shut it down. Thats the only small light on the horizon imho...
"These thrusters fire in tiny pulses, or "puffs," lasting mere milliseconds, to subtly rotate the spacecraft so that its antenna points at our planet."
Does anyone know whats the fuel inside those thrusters is?
Rails 5 API Mode and ReactJS / VueJS. All with great communities and lots of free resources.
Maybe also a minimal go framework instead of rails for better performance...

A client asked me to take over that task. I'm searching for new inspirations / ideas of achieving this task without having a downtime. They're data is a mess, they have relations over all 3 database systems and need a consistent backup. Currently there's no backup at all :)
Ofc i can shut them all down and then run a backup...Any ideas for new approaches?btw: It's hosted on aws instances (not...
Wow didnt't see that coming... to recommendations for windows phones. Thanks i will have a look at it.

Hey guys, i need a new smartphone after my iphone 6 is falling apart. Currently i'm in the mood of trying something new after sticking to apple for several years. Is there any "secure" open-source smartphone out there which is worth a try? Looking at the blackphone right now... I need email, messengers like whatsapp, spotify and a camera would also be nice.Other stuff is not necessary.Thanks...
