In this article I am going to show how to build a simple service which monitors our HackerNews account and sends a notification to our Discord channel when there are new comments to our submissions.
Hey guys!

I started this project almost a month ago and decided to share my progress from day one.

SwitchFeat is a platform which makes it very simple to manage your feature flags and run a/b tests. I decided to make it completely open-source and self-hosted.

No external servers to connect to, no latency added to your API requests, your data stay within your network!

If you like the idea please add a Star on Github!

That would help me so much to continue the development!

Hey Andy here!

I started working on this project over 2 weeks ago and I think it's coming up pretty nicely!

SwitchFeat is under early stage development and for now I am setting up the overall project structure, putting in place a dashboard, authentication and the data stores.

Once I am done with the foundations, I can start building features on top of it.

Being an open source project, feel free to jump in and contribute!

Here it is the link to the GitHub repo, in case you are interested!

https://github.com/switchfeat-com/switchfeat

That's another cool API testing framework for sure!

I think this is a market where there is a lot of space for alternatives!

Thanks! The result export is on my roadmap as well!
APITrakr is an API testing framework which runs locally, no subscription/accounts needed. I OSS the core and the CLI.

I am also working on a cool UI for it, which will be distributed as a one time payment.

I like the simple approach. Is there a way I can see history of my experiments?
Thanks a lot for clarifying! And thanks for not removing the post entirely!
Hey guys!

I just published the landing page for TrakrLog!

It is going to be a simple and flexible event tracking service which allows gathering insights from your application via a single http request.

I just open the waiting list in order to validate the idea and see if there is enough interest!

Hope you like it!

This is a very good point Matt, as I already mentioned in the reply to the previous comment ;)
This is a very good point mtmail. I am going to add screenshots soon.

In a nutshell skedlo gives you a feed of un-replied mentions that you can reply to straight from the app using the integrated tweet editor.

That amount of access is standard in the twitter api in order to be able to post on user behalf.

I totally agree. I am already working on a proper trailer which shows the latest gameplay and assets.
I am making the game as solo dev, hence I do everything by myself from coding, creating the assets and marketing.. at best of my abilities.. :)

I am using Unity game engine for the development.

Being solodev is really challenging at times, but I try keeping a consistent schedule to keep the game progress constant.

I am making the game much more chill than Factorio, without that constant amount of problems to solve to keep going. On top of it I am going to add base building (rimworld style) and farming. Also the game progress will be based on milestones (similar to satisfactory).
Looks better now?
Good point. This is my first post about a game and didn't really know how to call the submission.
I am building an automation and base building game about a scientist sent on an unknown planet to build the foundations for a new habitable colony. You will be using conveyor belts, machines, you will research new tech, farming and more!

If you like the idea consider wishlist! And join the discord server to follow the development!

Re:Show HN: A New Browser Automation API on Tuesday November 02, 2021 @02:34PM (#29085532)
Hi, Wibbly is a Browser Automation API which allows to extract data from any website.

The API can extract normalized metadata from any website from HTML tags, JSON-LD and Open Graph, all in a simple JSON response.

Wibbly can also extract any content from a website adding custom selection rules to the API request. I called this fetaure Selective Query and allows to provide selective rules in a simple format, straight into the GET request. More info here: https://www.wibbly.co/docs#selective-query

I just launched so any feedback onj the service would be highly appreciated!
