Hello HN,

I would like to invite you to demo your startup/app on our new service - DemoSquared, an online Demo Pit. You may think of this as the online version of services like TechCrunch Disrupt - the difference being - it is online and we will pre-record the demo.

We will work with you to create a short, impactful demo that really highlights your product and lets you connect with the audience.

Please schedule your demo here: http://demosquared.com/ The first demo goes live on March 1st.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to personally working with you. - Pranaya

We are a bit behind on one of our client's projects and need some help to get it wrapped up. Does HN have any suggestions as to how/where we can get some coders (mostly frontend/HTML/CSS) and 1 or 2 PHP backend to come in to our office (SOHO) and work for a week? Thanks.
Even if you are using stripe, you should use SSL on your payment page where you collect credit card and other user information.
Re:How safe is your password with Verizon? on Wednesday February 27, 2013 @03:20PM (#5294621)
I sincerely hope you are right. However, the only thing I understood was that she was asking for my password. I read Hacker News so I know better :) - however, Verizon deals with many others - how are they to figure that out - if that is indeed the case.
Re:Show HN: Our alternative to recruiter spam on Monday January 07, 2013 @05:08PM (#5023560)
I think this is much needed service. However, I did not see anywhere mentioned - how long I might have to wait after I said I am interested in, lets say $100+ job. What I am asking is how exactly does your process-timeline work? (i.e. Roughly how long do I might need to wait? Is there some sort of strategy/rational that helps me set some realisting timeline expectations?
Re:Show HN: Never wait for Paypal again on Monday January 07, 2013 @10:00AM (#5021222)
Great Idea. However, I would have preferred the name "FastPal", "HassleFreePal", or something to that tone instead of a slower Pal.
Re:28 Startup Skills You Can't Live Without on Wednesday December 12, 2012 @12:07PM (#4911173)
This is a great list. I would like to add one to the list, which, I think, is specially crucial during the intial phase of a startup:

-> How to have a thick skin to handle negativity and persevere. It's very important to be able to filter out the noise and stay focused.

Great name and a very promising proposition. I like it.

Are there any working examples/implementations (besides the technical preview)?
