       — (Used to be their monthly pace). That’s 40 times more than DeepSeek, which saw just 1 million downloads.
Over the past three weeks, ChatGPT's momentum has surged, while interest in DeepSeek appears to have plateaued.

And No, Google's Gemini is NOT a close second.

Over the past few weeks, Deepseek's weekly downloads have dropped from ~7-10M to ~2M, while ChatGPT has maintained a steady 7M downloads per day. It looks like the initial hype around Deepseek is fading.
Re:DeepSeek 1M/day vs. ChatGPT 750K/day on Google Play on Saturday February 08, 2025 @01:04PM (#42984766)
We track Play Store download data daily.

OpenAI's Android app saw ~24-25M downloads per month (~750K/day): 24.8M in Nov, 24.9M in Dec, and 24M in Jan—remarkably consistent.

Meanwhile, DeepSeek is now at 1M/day and could surpass 30M in March (since Feb has 28 days).

Re:Launch HN: Imagito – Search Images Containing Text on Friday November 19, 2021 @05:07AM (#29275569)
Imagito helps search images that contain text. It is available on Android & iOS.

1.It works offline.

2.Uses your phone's processing power to process text on the images.

3.Scans about 5+ images/second on a high end phones.

We wanted a tool that could enable us to search for prescriptions, invoices, tickets or any image that contained some text.

We've been lucky to onboard some awesome users who gave us feedback, and helped us improve the app.

It automatically indexes text from new images every day.

We are looking to build many other features, including making a Mac, Windows version of this tool - in the future.

Congratulations on the launch.

We were looking for this very solution. Writing queries and mapping them downstream is pretty handy.

I also noticed that you support Rudderstack(yet another great tool), and we can send events via their http connector.

Looking forward to using this tool.

Do you plan on adding Clickhouse as source anytime soon?

It's a good sheet add-on - tracks both Android & iOS apps. Currently, we are offering 50 keywords a day for users who signup using gmail (which can be increased to 200 upon request), and 200 keywords a day (upto 5 users per company - i.e. track 1,000 keywords a day per company) for those who have signed up using a corporate account.

If you'd like to refresh the ranks every n hours, it can handle that.
