News for hackers. Stuff that matters.

I gave the two voices; my wife, who is non-technical, was able to correctly identify which one was AI and which one wasn't. I guess it has not crossed the threshold where it is purely human-sounding.

It could be grammar, choice of words, etc.

So you are responsible for my career and the reason i can put food on my table. Thank you.

People are underestimating now big of a tech shift it was back in the day.

I operate in india as well as rest of the world. What you are saying is true only from one perspective. When I'm in india, you can hire a persons to do Day literally everything. Cleaning, cooking, shopping any chore you can think off. I'm actually more productive when I'm in india.

Traffic is a real problem. But if your compensation is above average in tech, you can get a car with a driver and work from car.

I hear you and i agree with you. I also believe orgs should try their best to make sure employee dont have to deal with it and be more productive.

Unfortunately most of the tech buisness are what we call "lala" businesses and they are not incentivising.

eMudhra stock is down 20% [1] There is a real financial consequence of bad posture. I am confident they were passing the compliances; everything was 100%.

We have been operating in India for a while. People do not take security, processes, etc., seriously in India. At least most of the organizations do not. Most likely, a human error caused the incident, and guardrails could have prevented it.

The sad part is that even after a major incident like this, the org is probably not going to invest in tools and processes to improve their posture. They will only do what is necessary to meet compliance. This is just the nature of a market driven by low margins and low-quality vendors.

There is no malice here by the org; it is just unfortunate.

Use digitalocean's microvms, they are cheaper.

Thank you for sharing this. I second your opinion. I think AI is going to end humanity but not the way we think. I think something idiocracy is befitting here.
Self-hosted but not self-owned.

It is very startling. I was amazed, these are some of the smartest people i knew in my career.

Sure.

You can use Kubernetes with Kaniko or Docker-in-Docker or rootless Docker for building stuff too. I think that's much cheaper in an org context. The amount of CI we run, we have saved countless dollars.

We were thinking about opensourcing our flows.

Re:Cambrian Explosion of AI on Monday September 28, 2026 @08:56AM (#49877233)
The blog is not AI generated. I typed it out. The website yes. The goal was to keep it clean, I didnt care about what color it was. But then you are seeing it in daytime. It also has a night mode.
Re:Cambrian Explosion of AI on Monday September 28, 2026 @08:32AM (#49876971)
I respect your perspective.

Everyone is trying to build a POV on agents, AI and LLM, how it is going impact everyone and indivually. I believe, lack of any baseline for a tech shift like this, people to draw references from theories and anecdotes to build their understanding. Thats all what I am doing.

Re:Cambrian Explosion of AI on Monday September 28, 2026 @02:49AM (#49874451)
I didnt know that. I'm not going to give credit to every person out there who used the term cambrian explosion.

This blog is human generated too. I am just expressing my thoughts and what I am observing around me.

This seems to be from AWS team. Is that right?

Easier from enterprise perspective.
Re:The New MCP Roadmap on Saturday August 22, 2026 @10:19AM (#49400001)
I dont this is top most priority. We do this with codex or claude in chrome and validate the UX.

I think BDD is going to be back in style for agent generate code.

When you generate at scale discovering, maintaining and scaling test is the major problem, thats why were katana [1] a behavior driven testinf utility thay discovers behavior and maintain, generates test cases.

It looks like right after Microsoft acquisition this started going off.

This is the outcome of violating single responsibility principle in business.
