Did it was it a random console error? It may be due to load issues since the site has many users at the moment.

That's an interesting concept, I think you are referring to Metcalfe's law.

I'll do my best to scale for sure

I used Next.js, other technologies I used are turso for DB, nextauth, Vercel for hosting.

I have 80+ at the moment, most of which are developers. A ratio of 5:1 I'd say.

What do you mean by network effects though? I'm quite new to business

That's more than enough detail thank you very much

Re:Ask HN: Need plugin ideas for my SaaS – Next Inject on Friday September 06, 2024 @06:24PM (#41470150)
Hey HN,

I am building Next Inject, a Next.js CLI tool that will configure services like a landing page with a single command:

npx next-inject add lp - Run inside an empty directory

I am looking for plugin ideas, so feel free to list your preferences and I will implement them as soon as possible.

Our current selection of plugins are listed in the URL.

Best,

Dan.

EDIT: The page link is broken, here is the real link:

https://www.nextinject.pro/plugins/ui/lp

Very sorry about this, I have changed it now.
Hey HN,

Just launched a free landing page plugin for my side project Next Inject.

If you're using Next.js, you can set up a fully customizable landing page with a single command:

npx next-inject add lp

And that's just one of many plugins available at Next Inject.

We are adding more to automate the boring stuff for you, e.g. stripe configuration, auth configuration.

Check out the demo video and give it a try. I would love to hear your feedback!

I guess the english wasn't too clear, I do think it's quite concise though and I will think of another way to convey the same message while keeping it concise.

Thanks for explaining this, I will look into it and change the copy using your advice.

Re:Ask HN: Roast My Landing Page Design and Copy on Monday August 12, 2024 @05:04AM (#41222550)
The other product is a full SaaS boilerplate filled with components and docs, and rightly so, they have more to offer which is why they are more expensive.

However, I argue that more is not always better for a boilerplate product, because more boilerplate = more confusion and unnecessary abstractions which can confine the user to using specific technologies.

My product aims to do the bare minimum to configure all of the important parts of your full stack Next.js app without any extra boilerplate.

Re:Ask HN: Roast My Landing Page Design and Copy on Monday August 12, 2024 @05:00AM (#41222521)
I perhaps shouldn't of exposed the card type and 4 numbers, that was me not being careful, however I don't believe it's a major risk since you can't really do mich with this, especially since the identity of the customer is hidden.

As for exposing the payment intent, there are no problems with this unless someone manages to get my stripe API keys and can then query by payment intent id.

Ask HN: Roast My Landing Page Design and Copy

Hey HN,As the title suggests, could you please roast my landing page and the marketing copy? I am accepting unfiltered, raw feedback, and I understand that HN is good at this. Here is the landing page: https://www.nextinject.proAnd don't worry too much about the product itself, the primary goal is to improve the website design as much as possible. Many thanks in advance.P.S. If you are curious...

I know right? I sometimes get jealous of laravel PHP folks, but then again JavaScript is the only language I have advanced proficiency with, so what can I do.
Exactly that, this is why our product is "not" a paid boilerplate.

We do offer a free boilerplate, but this only contains a popular folder structure + extra components that you can use or omit.

What we actually offer is specific integrations for services like stripe, next-auth, all in a single click.

We don't want to confine you to using a specific tech stack or specific implementation because that is wrong, like you pointed out.

Our only goal is to help you save time, and do the bare minimum to automate mundane setup code for you.

create-t3-app is great, and our product is not too dissimilar.

However, we are not a starter boilerplate (although we offer this as well), rather we give the developers power to choose what integrations they need in the form of composable plugins, e.g. `next-inject add stripe` will integrate stripe in one click!

Exactly, shipfast is completely overpriced, and it confines you to use a certain tech stack, which may be a problem later down the line when you realise a certain service might be needed but it's not included.

Our service is 5x cheaper, and you have 100% modularity.

I mean, the source code is publicly available on github too, so I believe it's possible for people to look through the code and deduce whether I am hacking them or not.
What do you mean by this?
Yeah Laravel php at least have this for free.

Show HN: I created a Next.js CLI to ship code like a hacker

https://www.nextinject.pro

Hey HN ,My product is targeted at developers who want to save 20+ hours writing the same boilerplate code.*Next Inject* is a CLI that lets you configure services such as payments, authentication, and SEO with a single command.*Next Inject* is straight to the point; you get exactly what you pay for, i.e. run `next-inject add stripe` and voila, you can now accept payments from users. Now there are...

Re:Show HN: A modular Next.js CLI plugin system on Monday July 29, 2024 @05:09PM (#41103815)
Thank you very much.

I understand this product is still in development and not optimal, but I aim to make it more robust and powerful with more iteration.

Re:Show HN: A modular Next.js CLI plugin system on Monday July 29, 2024 @05:08PM (#41103810)
Hello!

Thanks for your honest feedback, this is what I need at this stage as a new SaaS developer.

All developers will be able to see the code they inject (since we enforce git usage), and the code contains the bare-minimum required to setup a certain service, minus the unnecessary boilerplate.

But there is much to be done about the delivery of my product, so thanks for highlighting issues like the README.

Hello HN,I am ad indie hacker, and my first SaaS, Next Inject, is available to try now.Next Inject is a modular CLI plugin system, where you can automate the configuration of features like stripe, metadata, authentication, all in a single click to save your time. And for certain plugins that require environment variables, you will be linked to a docs page to save even more time on...
