Actually I think you're right. But I like to think it still useful for processes with no legal right to a full copy: landlord asking your ID on Whatsapp, the gym, or any other one that involves specifically an online process, precisely.

On the signed package I think that it would be awesome, but it requires tons of friction I would not be willing to get into right now. Although, makes a lot of sense.

Does this make sense?

Thanks for the comment. May I ask you what are you using it for?
Thank you! Fair questions indeed.

The idea is redacting for when you need to send your IDs primarily online; caring about your privacy and avoiding copies, indeed.

You could always do online check-in in the hotel, showing the needed info only, and when showing up physically you simply show it fully to the receptionist, for instance.

As someone who cares about data protection; I want to believe I should not accept the fact that all our data is still online available for bad actors; for which I still find necessary tools that make this endeavor easier.

Does this answer your questions?

Waoh! I didn't know this guy. Really interesting! Thanks for posting.
Run. Running is the only super-effective method I have found so far that REALLY helps me disconnecting.
Thanks! For the moment I published this: https://travelregulations.live/
I saw this pic and got the idea to do it. Anyone would like to help?

Ask HN: Why are the apple id passwords limited to a max amount of 63 chars?

I spent yesterday some time rotating my passwords and I found out that the Apple Id passwords are limited to 63 characters maximum.Googling, I found nothing about this topic. Then I went to the Apple StackExchange (probably not the right place) to ask about it without success (https://apple.stackexchange.com/q/387364/263000).I'd like to see the potential technical reasons why a company would go...

Ask HN: Is there any website listing websites' UX compatibility per browser?

Dear reader.Today, I've spent almost 3 hours trying to purchase a few items at IKEA online (the Spanish online store, ikea.es).As a web developer, I find incredibly difficult to develop an end-to-end website online purchasing experience only compatible with IE11, which was the case.Of course in order to figure that out, I needed a process of testing the same process again and again with the...

This is exactly what a product like Edpuzzle does for educational purposes. https://edpuzzle.com/
Thanks everybody. I didn't expect this massive amount of reactions. I've tried to update the github repo gathering the info you all provided me (mainly references, websites and books).

If anyone wants to raise a PR fixing english errors (non-native speaker here) I'd be much appreciated (https://github.com/davidpelayo/awesome-parenting).

I'll also add a spanish version soon.

Thanks for the info!
Thanks for your recommendation!
I don't know if it works for your or not. But, to me, it makes lot of sense to gather as much info as possible so that when I have doubts on doing something, I can query first what info says and maybe the decision-making process is better.
Of course we can. But maybe it's not bad to have extra resources, books, opinions, techniques and methodologies you might want to look at to reflect on whether your common sense makes actual sense or not? I think it's healthy to be open to listen other opinions and evaluate your owns.
Awesome, I'll link the book to the github repo.
Then it would be nice to have a good resource where to find science nice articles on many topics affecting parenting?
Thanks! I understand the potential conflicts on different approaches at so many different discussions.

However, as you've mentioned, it would be awesome to have a resource putting different opinions together.

As per in one of the comments below suggested, I've created this repo: https://github.com/davidpelayo/awesome-parenting so I'll be tracking all the info posted here and others findings.

Thanks for reading.

Good! Thanks. I'll add it to the repo I just created to document all this stuff. Appreciated!
I created it a few days ago, with another name. But I really liked your proposal. Find it here: https://github.com/davidpelayo/awesome-parenting

Feel free to add stuff. Really, I'm just asking this to get different opinions from people worldwide.

Ask HN: Any good collaboratively built documentation on good parenting?

Lastly, I wonder whether there is a good collaborative resource providing consensus-based good parenting practises and guidelines, from a general point of view: Which, of course, would include, techniques, methodologies or guidelines depending on the age, type, culture or context where children grow up.Am I requesting for a kind of an impossible-to-find asset?I'd appreciate your thoughts on this.

Meanwhile, we are still coding throughout the very same interface as 40 years ago: a keyboard.
