Base Power raised $1 billion in Series D funding at a $13 billion valuation and launched Base Core, a U.S.-built home battery made in Austin.
What are significant differences between Ollama and LM Studio now? I haven’t used Ollama because it was missing MLX when I started using LLM GUIs.
Prusa Research is launching a new, redesigned Prusament spool featuring the OpenPrintTag, an open-source NFC tag for smart spools. The OpenPrintTag standard aims to unify the industry with offline functionality, reusability, and brand independence. The new spool design includes a plastic core with a locking mechanism for improved reliability and easier refilling.

A friend is traveling abroad with sensitive information that a foreign government may want or may target after they learn it was shared. Are there any guides for securing a Android or iPhone against state actors?

I've started using the Natural Color System,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_Color_System, for my matplotlib visualisations. Snippet of code I use on categorical data:
good_patch = matplotlib.patches.Patch(color='#009F6B', label='good')
marginal_patch = matplotlib.patches.Patch(color='#FFD300', label='marginal')
warning_patch = matplotlib.patches.Patch(color='#FF751F', label='warnings')
bad_patch = matplotlib.patches.Patch(color='#C40233', label='bad')
flag_patch = matplotlib.patches.Patch(color='#0087BD', label='flag')
unknown_patch = matplotlib.patches.Patch(color='#808080', label='unknown')
Some devices allow you to rename them, UE speakers comes to mind. If you change the name (usually within the device manufacture's app,) unpair, then pair again, the new device name will show. I've used this method on a few Bluetooth speakers but it obviously won't work if the manufacture doesn't allow you to rename the device.

Thanks for the heads up. I wonder what will happen first, Apple releases a fix or the logs fill up my disk?

How many iPhone X will sell this month and how many Samsung phones sold the 1st month they released edge to edge displays? I think part of Apple's problem is success, they have to launch with a profitable phone the 1st month; no delays & no defects. Samsung can have a higher internal scrap rate for the 1st few months because they sell less and it impacts the bottom line less.
Can your software use ODBC connection (specifically System DSN sources)? I'm waiting for my IT dept to install .NET 4.6 so I can't try your software right now.
Is there any Windows SQL software that can use system/machine ODBC data sources? My company uses OpenLink's ODBC drivers to access our main database (Progress OpenEdge.) I have no problem using Python, Pandas, and pyodb to connect to the data base but it isn't the best environment to develop queries.
In manufacturing Minitab and JMP are used for data analysis (histograms, control charts, DOE analysis, etc.) They are much easier to use and provide helpful tutorials on the actual analysis.
What features or workflow does R or Pandas/Numpy offer to manufacturing that Minatab & JMP can't?

I'm looking for technical documentation software like Dozuki or Docebo to document work instruction within a manufacturing company. Open source preferable but not necessary. I'm trying to avoid SaaS because of cost and security.
