Ok I see what you mean, it looks like a difficult equation to solve then. As I do believe anything productive (and not boring) requires mental energy.

Please, do let me know if you found any right path regarding your thread. Thanks.

One of the things that I heard a lot and confirm, is that you need to do a side project that has nothing to do with the stuff that you are doing at work, especially it needs to motivate you as well.

Courage to you.

Re:Ask HN: Advice on Becoming a Cloud Architect on Tuesday January 03, 2023 @08:21PM (#34240638)
I don't know wha your background is, but I would recommend to practice a lot and keep doing it.

If you were a software developer before (not required), then you are used of the do it mentality, the same applies for Cloud stuff.

By practicing a lot, you'll become more and more confident to do it and then you'll be happy that company will hire you because of your skills (better) than only because of any certification.

I have seen a few certified people being hired and fired afterward, let's do more effort for that certification (if you plan to get it) to only confirm your skills rather than defining it.

I myself practicing a lot, feel free to find out what I'm doing daily at: https://blog.numericaideas.com

While hoping this answer will help you somehow.

Let me know in you want more precision. Cheers!

Yes, your arguments are also right @brudgers. Thanks for it. But It looks like build on an established e-commerce platform can be a pain when we need to add functionalities or customize existing one. What is your points about, please?
Ok thanks for your points too, it really helps me to better handle my case.

I'm comfortable with Android and web dev, but not any php stuffs.

Thanks for your point, yes I agree. Then you recommend to go from scratch with some tables and the stack you love?

Startup commitment as shareholder: the limit

How to deal with a startup team where the others technical members who have shares don't really care about business and let you do all the work yourself. While you are doing the hard work they are doing external stuff to get a lot of monies, but you focus on the idea of the startup and remain poor for the moment? Will you shut down your commitments and go on something else, more professional...

As a Full-Stack how will you build an e-commerce web app and the mobile version

Hi @all. Just be pinged by a partner who wants me to build a simple e-commerce web app and his mobile version to sell clothes on.As a Full-Stack how will you handle such app technically? Will you go with a CMS and call API on the android version? Or you will take all in hand and build something really lightweight from scratch with for example NodeJs and Express(loopback.io) with material...

Exactly.
The major problem here is that looks like there are not really a developer team behind, but just the Senior Developer. No designer and no others person who make good stuffs on photoshop or others grapic design tools.
I agree with you too ramenmeal, Thanks. I was very confused, then I submitted it here for more clarifications.
Yes, interactive/digital/marketing agency. And they don't even have a design team or others things like that. Is it an abuse of languages right?

Ask HN: Must a Senior Developer be proficient in design, UX and Photoshop too?

Had an interview for a Senior Developer position, they ask me if I have Photoshop in my Computer, also told me that I must be proficiency in CMS(Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal, ...) !!! That it is the definition of a Senior Developer, and the basic is to have these skills after think to do others things else. They also ask me how I'm going to manage a team with these skills if I don't know them well.
