How many weeks is their usual reserve?
Yeah man, how many double spends have happened so far!
It's definitely different. But difficult is subjective.
Personally, I prefer the experience as a male. Instead of getting flooded with goofs, I can focus on a small amount of matches.
There are a lot of Aspens in Switzerland. But seriously, I hope there will be consequences. Everyone in my bubble disapproves this strongly. Yes, there is not much snow. Yes, it is crippling snow tourism. But I can't imagine there are a lot of Swiss people who think that flying in snow is justified in any way.
Oh yes sure. The current system could also work without all the current issues... But who of the parties that control or profit from it now would want a change? Why give up control? Why renounce fees?
To change it, at least one competing system is required to put the pressure the current system. It will not change from the inside.

That's not true. The profitability of a miner is not measured with their hardware generation but with the energy cost needed to operate them. If you have access to very cheap energy, they can still be very profitable. There is a reason the market price of old mining rigs is not 0.
But this is not about anyone's opinion... It's a straight-up technical fact. It's always true, whether you like it or not.
Because there are still very rough edges to smooth out. So it works only for niches. Kinda like online shopping in the 90s
Absolutely not. My country wants to know what assets (or waht they're worth to be more precise) I have end of Year, so I declare it. I have no problems with that. Good living conditions have a price so I happily pay my cut. If I don't like it, I'll leave.
Permissionless means that there is no central entity needed to observe or even approve my actions with my assets.
What existing solutions?
I strongly disagree, self-soverignty is a personal decision. It doesn't matter in what country you live.
Transferring and holding. This only requires a private key. NFTs are not needed for this.
Managing (digital) assets/values in a permissionless, self-sovereign way.
There is no alternative as far as I know.
Every single person in Switzerland that listens to traffic reports recognises the name of that 5k inhabitant village. The A1 highway section there is one of Switzerlands most congested roads. Also, it is the location of Swiss Posts largest distribution centers, which alone makes it a significant logistics hub already. But adding to that it is also home to the flagship distribution center of Migros and hubs of several other large Swiss logistics firms like Planzer and Emil Egger.
So, I think creating a connection from there to Zurich will be just fine. They chose that first route for a reason.
You own the token. The NFT.
They discuss it around 30 mins into the video
The members of the council are elected by the united parliament. They will also elect the successor...
Since it's not done by popular vote, political games in that process are rare or just not excessive. The people trust the parliament with the process of electing their leaders, you better shouldn't fail them. So they mostly elect according to the current concordance.
It was painfully obvious that heavy lobbying was involved... I was amazed how that problem somehow was never addressed by the opponents.
Some call it confidence, I call it bargain shopping.

Actually, they are all Swiss because otherwise they would not be eligible to play for Switzerland.
Also, Dzemaili's roots are Macedonian, not Albanian.
Expelling criminals (which was the topic of the referendum) is racist?
I always asked myself how one can misinterpret such a widely used metaphor (except intentionally).
Yes, it means the same like in English.
There were people from the far left wing that tried to establish that it was meant literally, which would then become racist. But that looked so far fetched that it wasn't part of the official strategy of the far left parties.
This is just a myth. Take the swiss immigration referendum from 9.2.2014. It was broadly and prominently combated. Most of the parties were against it and all economic associations threw in tons of money against it. Still, the Swiss voted for it.
Obviously you didn't understand how Swiss federalism works. We (generally) do not decide for/against other cantons or tell them how they should handle things. Unless it's something that concerns the whole country equally.
See the vote today: There was an initiative about the abolition of flat taxes for rich non-working foreigners. It was broadly rejected around the country. But if a canton still wants to abolish it, they can do that (and some of them do it already).
That it strengthens extreme positions is rubbish. And even if it does, it would have a ridiculously small effect.
Seriously... when can I have shumway in the regular builds? It's in the nightly builds since... like forever o_O
I think this is perfectly legit.
Of course as long as they do not instruct you WHAT to write and do not interfere your publishing process in any way at any point.
At the moment the demand here for developers is clearly higher than the supply. However, mainly CS/BS are demanded. And if you're not experienced or you don't want to make an apprenticeship, the market gets very thin.
In Switzerland, we have the dual education system [1]. This means highschool students usually choose a profession while they're still in school and go for an apprenticeship after graduation. An apprenticeship in ICT-professions takes 4 years and when finished successfully they receive the "Federal Certificate of Competence".
There is a program called "Informa" [2] which validates the knowledge of experienced craftsmen and gives them a chance to receive the same kind of degree like apprentice graduates. Which also makes them eligible to further education paths, like higher professional schools (to get a diploma if you like).
If you want to move to Switzerland, you don't have to worry about the language. Many IT-companies here are multi cultural and speak both German and English. We have a high quality of life here, the goverment is friendly and our laws favours employees.
I work for a small but successful company in Zurich. We'll move to a bigger office in January 2014 and need skilled developers to fill it :) We mainly create web applications and other cloud solutions, but also windows apps and banking software. We primarily use C#. Oh... and we don't care about certificates and degrees. We need skill, not paper.
