I use my AI to help me create prints and its much easier if they can just kick off the jobs for me too. Unfortunately, Bambu doesn't let you interface with the printer headlessly unless you've turned on developer mode and LAN only which means you can no longer use Bambu Handy app to check on your prints outside your network. I pushed the agents to find a workaround but Antigravity and Claude refused. Antigravity let me know that it found a way and explained that way to me but said its security blocks wouldn't allow it to continue but that Codex models have no limitations on reverse engineering. give me a break... they are enforcing this for by triggering a sound barrier. Just because that may be true for some things doesn't mean its true for all laws
Being a minority doesn't give you the right to be an asshole

I think it’s unfair to compare OS X to both Linux and windows. You’re basically double teaming. Also comes off as bias to have only cons for the software.
Re:Ask HN: What is your Git commit/push flow? on Thursday March 17, 2022 @01:56PM (#30714030)
I think clean commit history is overrated as long as your squash and merge prs into main. I’ve tried clean commits using rebase and I just don’t think overhead for me personally is worth it. What’s more important is small PRs. And if you can’t do that usually find spending some time reviewing the code with the reviewee is also helpful

For annoyance 1 I use a bettertoutchtool shortcut to connect to my AirPods . I also noticed BigSur will have a notification pop up asking if you want to reconnect
I just did keto and was shocked at how much I liked eritythol but we’ve still got a ways to go
Re:Who wrote this shit? on Wednesday January 12, 2022 @01:11PM (#29910649)
Also just because someone’s on the blame didn’t mean they wrote it. They maybe refactored
Re:Why aren't the most useful Mac apps on the App Store? on Friday January 07, 2022 @10:24PM (#29848328)
This blog post reads a lot like the lunar app. Overly complicated but very pretty.
Re:Chatbots: Still dumb after all these years on Thursday January 06, 2022 @10:10PM (#29834357)
They should update the Turing test with a test where you talk to a chat bot instead of a 13 year old
Catnip smells like cat urine to cats and they love it
Re:Improving GitHub Code Search on Thursday December 09, 2021 @02:03AM (#29494668)
this is awesome but i dont know why we needed faster search, seems like time wouldve been better spent on more search features. I guess this is class programmer pointless optimization
