I use nearlyfreespeech.net.
Bare-bones simple settings, and also very cheap.
That pizza looks nasty.
(sorry for being blunt)
Some problems with this argument:
For overhead maps 1-4, couldn't you just simply walk over on foot?
I'm not one of the lucky few who gets to see it, unfortunately.
Thus...
Screenshots pl0x.
It is possible that you either secretly don't like the work that you are doing, or that you secretly don't believe you are capable of completing the work.

Call me pessimistic.Every viable web startup idea that I can think of has already been done by other startups who have been there many years before. Many of these startups' products look very polished and usable, that I can't begin to think of how to make a substantially better product that would encourage people to jump ship onto my product. For example, one of my ideas is a repository hosting...
A Rosetta Stone for design. About damn time.
Holy smokes, this is good!
What is this I don't even
I could attest to some of the stuff this guy says. In a certain southeast-asian country, everyone is using Blackberries not because they're cool but because unlimited text-messaging plans makes them really cheap.
Seconded. Being in Canada means I can't easily fly all the way to Stanford.
Seen the demo video, and I'm a little skeptical about content spread having to depend on real-life location. I like the current global bucket model, because it guarantees best content (even if it hides other potentially good submissions).
virus originated from Redmond, WA?
I'm going to guess you are or used to be a Product Manager at Msoft.
Now that you've mentioned this fact, I'm more interested in trying out these services.

I could see the government getting around this by regulating HTTPS or making encryption for the purposes of subverting censorship a crime.
Pretty sure I've seen this years back.
As much as I love Ruby, I have to say that the Ruby docs website is shit.
No search bar (unlike the PHP docs website).
I'd like to think that the apparent security weaknesses in many PHP applications could be attributed to the fact that PHP was already around back when web security practices were more primitive.
Thus, in your career you tend see more PHP apps that were badly-implemented.
Why can't we have this in Canada?
717 karma on the original thread, and nobody suspected a thing!
Now that I know this is Starbucks-funded, I suddenly feel the urge to buy Frappucinos using the card and make a giant pyramid.
Wow, everyone here fell for it, me included.
Although I have to admit, this is the first time I've seen a viral campaign involving the creation of an API.
I can say the same thing (open-source stacks) about Linux, and not many Linux demos are out there

When I see demos of web apps (videos, screenshots), I can't help but notice that they are all almost exclusively done using Macs.Is there some secret to why everyone's doing this?
Why am I not seeing more demos on Windows? Or Linux for that matter?
HR was using an automated system that sent boilerplate e-mails.
Nothing to see here, move along...
Looks like a cool web app, although I fail to see this as a commercial product.
I would use this only as a free product, and I'm sure as hell that my friends won't pay for this either.
Maybe I just lack vision, but I don't see how this app can possibly pull in big revenue.
Can someone please prove me wrong?
I thought that this was a cool service, but then I opened the Pricing page and I went "Holy Shit"!
Nice app and all, but I don't see myself paying $10 for something I could easily replicate in a day.
Not trying to be mean or anything, but perhaps I'm not the target market here.
It looks like you are using _her_ internet access, or at the very least living at her place?
In that case, there's not much you can do since she's technically the owner of the place and should rightly be able to dictate the terms of usage of her house for whatever reason (whether or not they make sense).
Once you are able to afford your own place / internet connection, you're pretty much free to do whatever the hell you want.
