For one day only every 25 years.
I have used Frigate for years, I think early on it didn't support all of those GPUs. So it might be that said videos are out of date.
Re:Merlin Bird ID on Wednesday June 04, 2025 @04:56AM (#44178612)
I have been running this for about 1 year, works very well. The developer is regularly updating it and I run the nightly image at the moment.

It sounds like you went down the rabbit hole...
I have similar experiences. My parents both use the app also. It’s one of the few apps I hear their generation (retired and 65+) talking about.

Now I’m imaging a crossover with this and Pokémon Go. Gamified bird watching!

That appears to be a different URL
Re:Software developers have stopped caring about reliability on Sunday October 17, 2021 @07:42AM (#28895759)
Right, agreed. I was replying to this from the comment. Which seemed to claim it was impossible.

> We'll never achieve high reliability for anything but the simplest software

Sorry, I wasn’t very clear!

Re:Software developers have stopped caring about reliability on Sunday October 17, 2021 @05:28AM (#28895111)
IIUC NASA achieve high reliability for problems that don’t seem simple.

Is this comment on the wrong post?
Re:Pynguin – Generate Python unit tests automatically on Tuesday June 01, 2021 @01:11AM (#27350915)
Agreed. I went digging and found one in the docs. https://pynguin.readthedocs.io/en/latest/user/quickstart.htm...
Re:Nationwide tells 13,000 staff to 'work anywhere' on Thursday March 25, 2021 @04:35AM (#26577701)
I have been remote for around 8 years. When speaking to people new to remote (since covid) I always tell them this is the worst version of remote.

Generally remote working means flexibility and freedom (to varying degrees). We don’t have that now.

I have a 3yo and a 10 month old. Way too tired for that.

Maybe if they were a bit older?

I was able to get the flu jab easily in Scotland (as was my wife and my daughter is getting it tomorrow). It was incredibly well organised.

I think if you are unlucky it can be hard to get, but it is rolling out fast and many people are thankfully able to get it.

Re:Chevron Is Refusing to Pay for the “Amazon Chernobyl” on Tuesday October 06, 2020 @02:47AM (#24695282)
I 100% thought this was about Amazon the company as I clicked the link. Sad really.

Re:Oatly: The New Coke? on Saturday August 08, 2020 @10:50AM (#24091999)
I would guess they are using this comparison as oatly has become popular in coffee shops for lates etc. So the size is more common there, but probably not common at home.

This.

What is finished anyway? Are projects ever "finished"?

I’m the same. I never upgrade cattle, they get replaced and only pets are upgraded.
Re:Are We Wayland Yet? on Monday November 25, 2019 @01:28AM (#21625920)
After trying Sway recently I read a bunch of github issues when debugging. I was disappointed to find many the comments toxic.

I’ll stick with i3 and probably look for something different in the future.

The examples that were easy to find again; https://github.com/swaywm/sway/issues/1207#issuecomment-2984...

Yeah, they can be controlled at the thermostat. I was able to adjust mine locally but not via the app (or API in home assistant)
Re:Tilix: A tiling terminal emulator on Thursday August 10, 2017 @11:08AM (#14980453)
I also use gnome-terminal with i3, works great.
Is this reddit?
Re:A Good Vimrc (2014) on Monday March 20, 2017 @12:22PM (#13915416)
It is easy once you have put in the hours (days? months?) learning what you need and then scripting the setup... :)
This project is very young, I'd really like feedback from people. Is this something you think you would find useful? What features would you like to see?

I have only been using it a little bit, but found it most useful on larger projects. I have spent lots of time grepping OpenStack repos. Hopefully this will make it easier for me.

The "web" in this line, just below the title. It takes you to a google search.
