The worst part of projects for me is finding cheap domain names that don't suck. That's also the most exciting part for me. So I built this using Codex, CloudFlare and Fastly so I could get back to making more stuff.
I hope you find your next project name with it.

i've been dogfooding some version of this idea for a few weeks now and i'd thought i'd share my re-implementation from this weekend. basically it's a webserver that controls and unlimited amount of codex (preferred) or claude agents. it allows me to context switch more easily, as well as kick off tasks and instruct agents while i'm away from my desk. the storage is sqlite and persistent,...
this is super cute. i’m going to use it for notes to my kids. thanks for creating it!
This seems reductionist. There's plenty of other reasons people are F1 fans: the spectacle, the wealth, the prestige. While speed is certainly a draw for a lot of fans, speed can be at odds with the some of these other traits. For instance I took my son to qualifying in Miami, and while we both thoroughly enjoyed it, qualifying is quite short, and not nearly as exciting as watching it on TV. My son's first comment was: they don't seem as fast in person.
We ended up kicking around the track for a few hours taking in all the sights and experiences and he enjoyed that a lot more.
I guess my comment is, speed is important, sure, but don't give me a plaintext website either. There's a balance between speed and entertainment value.
i rewrote a code base that i’ve been tinkering on for the last 2 years or so this weekend. a complete replatform, new tech stack, ui, infra, the whole nine yards. the rewrite took exactly 3 days, referenced the old code base, online documentation, github issues all without (mostly) ever leaving claude.
it completely blew my mind. i wrote maybe 10 lines of code manually. it’s going to eliminate jobs.

https://kalla.app
A few weeks ago I decided hack together an idea I had for automatically naming and describing my activities on Strava. A few weekend late nights later, I taught myself Vue and created kalla.app. It looks at your recent activity, your photos on your workout and even your route to generate serious, sarcastic or vibe-y descriptions. This was all before Strava released there take, but I have some...
I’m happy someone mentioned this movie. I am constantly thinking about this quote:
> Vincent: You wanna know how I did it? This is how I did it Anton. I never saved anything for the swim back.
Per the dev:
> Google closed my cloud account without warning. I eventually found out they require verification of my identity and home address. I have submitted the docs. Anyone know how long this takes or better still someone at Google to speed it up? I am going to try get some DNS up elsewhere as an emergency measure.

Maybe a different carrier with different coverage?
I'm also wondering if Find My will save the "find", including GPS coordinates at the time, and report it out when it has connection?
As an amateur I always thought a “marketplace” of reference designs with criteria you could filter on (through-hole, easy to hand solder, pitch, programming, etc.) would be a great resource. You could even make an attempt at compatibility (I2C, SPI, # of GPIO pins) with certain MCUs. If something works in theory, let me pay the designer and get the schematic and footprints in KiCAD or other EDA.
As a programmer there's something that really clicks in OpenSCAD for me. I've made a few designs that are super easy to adjust/repurpose based on variables. When Thingiverse's customizer worked well (well enough), it was a great tool.

That does work, thank you!
And I also think .jsonl is the correct format. It's what I've seen others use.
You mention jsonlines in the escape hatch section, is there an escape hatch for jsonlines? I tried .jsonl but I get a 500 error.
A key piece of missing information … Space Shuttle Discovery flew 39 times. So B1051 has a way to go.
| The toolbox in my garage would look better if I could only see the tools I needed at the time I need them, and I would return that toolbox
This comment has completely broken my brain. That's exactly what a toolbox with drawers does, hides tools. Until you, the user, pull a drawer out and select the tool you need. Because you probably put the tools in their place you also have a high likelihood of knowing where they are. Maybe that's the paradigm? Show everything and let the user hide?
The opposite of hiding tools in a toolbox is littering your workspace with tools that you can see, but you soon run out of real estate with any decent amount of tools.
Maybe someone more versed in UniFi will step in but from what I've experienced throttling in UniFi exists across the entire network, not just WAN egress traffic. It severely limits it's usefulness.
I use my Bose QC35 II almost everyday and they store at least 5-7 different connections on the device. I have my phone, two PCs, Apple TV, iPad and MacBook Pro saved. You can slide and release the power button from the middle position to the forward position to jump to the next connection. Just stop on the one you want to connect to.
Like you mention it's hit or miss with the host device though. Sometimes it fails to connect and you need to connect from within the OS.
In their Excel data they have a column for cost per megabit.
Serious question, how is this different from what VW did? There was a lot of talk about complicit engineers vs. shady management in that discussion. Did this ever make it to production?
A quick search indicates the CVR for Lion Air 610 was recovered. Did I miss something?
If this single transaction is key to the survival of his business this may be one of few, if not the only client they have. In that case it may make longer term sense to "negotiate" a settlement. That could either be a payment plan or percentage of the 10k obligation.
They weren't that unhappy to be associated with the community. They still cashed in their page views for advertising money. The double standard is treating the advertising revenue different from the licensing revenue on the same content.
Fixed wing and let the thrust-vectoring pitch it over for forward-flight. Pitch up for SpaceX style landing.
We have two and my wife is lucky enough to stay home with them (and not need daycare). One thing I didn't account for is the load parenting all day places on the spouse staying home. In a perfect world you could share the load 50/50 after work, but on good days it's probably 60% on me to parent in the evenings. A bad day can mean I'm 100% on parenting duty.
I'm sure everyone's mileage (and relationships) differ here.
Don't all airlines already sell standby tickets? I'm guessing the demand on the average flight isn't enough to cover the chance someone won't show.
It was "scheduled" on October, 30th 2017.
