Re:Core Devices keeps stealing our work on Tuesday November 18, 2025 @12:18AM (#45961658)
Can you cancel the preorder? Or is the device you mentioned already out and too old to return? Some credit cards will refund you if terms changed after a purchase as well.
Its obvious mozilla doesnt care and wont listen or change by that single, stupid comment. AI reaponse or an idiot human, either way what an insult of a comment. Everything was clearly listed out! Just read what was written! Reach out privatley!

Mozilla turned on shitty AI no one wants without talking to anyone and now wont stop it when its breaking everything and instead just publicly placate.

Not even an apology but a fucking insult!!!

"sorry for your feelings" They can feel however they want you fuckup how about you say sorry for fucking up all the hard work with your shitty product pushes no one wants

Milarepa's skin and hair supposedly turned green from living on nettles for a while while meditating in retreat.

Tesla never refunded me my canceled cybertruck order. I ended up getting a refund from my bank after showing my paper trail.
A waymo ran over my skateboard so it makes sense they run over skateboard sized animals

Re:Corporate AI Is a Joke on Thursday September 25, 2025 @10:05PM (#45381780)
no one used copilot from corpo, everyone used personal agents, so corpo gave us all the agents.

people at the office who have highly personafied their personalized gpts still use them because of their emotional attachment.

Re:Freeway guardrails are now a favorite target of thieves on Friday September 05, 2025 @04:03PM (#45142977)
We have alleys where I am in the US and I sort out all the things thst could be useful and leave them in the alley and they all get picked up by folks before the day is over

Re:Tesla Diner on Monday August 04, 2025 @07:11PM (#44792407)
lol what is this? this seems so dumb.
Ive been seeing this same type of article for decades now. I bought a 2 karrat flawless lab grown diamond in 2005 for around $2k, and according to this article that size sells for $3,500. Prices have increased it seems. I assumed they would drop as more were made.
Re:Apple's Liquid Glass: When Aesthetics Beat Function on Wednesday July 23, 2025 @10:33AM (#44659672)
As a designer I can say that the truth is that customers expect things to get remade and updated and if you wait too long the stale aesthetic begins driving away new AND existing users who want to try out shiny new things. Nice hallucination though blaming it on designers, the folks with no decision making abilties who are often blocked by PMs and devs.
Re:Quantum Computing and the Hidden Subgroup Problem on Saturday May 31, 2025 @11:06PM (#44148413)
Claude summed it up like this:

The Hidden Subgroup Problem (HSP) is the mathematical framework that explains why quantum computers are so good at breaking encryption. Famous quantum algorithms like Shor's (for factoring numbers) and Simon's are all just different versions of solving the same underlying pattern-finding problem. The quantum "superpower" comes from using the Quantum Fourier Transform to reveal hidden mathematical patterns that classical computers can't efficiently find.

I had Tesla FSD and it ran two stop signs while I was trying it, so I canceled my FSD. That can't be normal right? Everyone elses isnt that terrible right? Maybe it is though.

Re:Material 3 Expressive: Better, Easier, Emotional UX on Friday May 16, 2025 @10:54AM (#44006241)
Im dying inside at the thought of outsourced junior designers redoing gcp dashboards this way. im already confused enough in there.

no company uses material design since v1 so this isnt going to infect anyone else but all google apps are about to get worse it seems

Re:The Whole Unicode Table on Friday May 02, 2025 @04:19PM (#43874201)
This is pretty great. I'm currently developing a web-based game using Unicode and ASCII art, so having everything visible in one space is important to me.
Re:How to program a text adventure in C on Sunday April 27, 2025 @01:45PM (#43813762)
cave is the first game i remember feeling immersed in. it was so good. its awesome you ported it!

Im playing with an LLM to remake drug wars. i pretty quickly changed it to more of a spiritual successor because i wanted to add more features and then had a hard time with them and the drug mechanic so i switched to financial trading and that made more sense. the i changed it to crypto coins in a dystopian future instead of stocks cuz the ascii art needed some lore to help flavor it now that gritty drugs were out

Re:You Wouldn't Steal a Font on Thursday April 24, 2025 @01:15AM (#43779445)
As a mostly now digital designer I get it... but also realize that digital has the capacity to scale instantly where print doesnt. Want to get 40 million editions out digitally? Gimme a sec. Physically? Gonna need to get some investment capital and a few years ramp up.
I do this in the US and wonder why others dont. I noticed years ago all restaurants had registers up front anyway so I tried and they took my payment and everywhere else since is pretty much the same story.
Why do i get downvoted. Who can downvote? sad figma ceo?

go look at the hundreds of similar posts of everyone dumping figma to cook code while you downvote and become irrelevant

figma is a bottleneck now

ill get you started: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/activity:73182383440883...

Vibe coding makes figma irrelevant. My big corp move us off it last month so I know startups have already done the same. RIP figma.
