Thank you for sharing! I've been looking for interfaces that let me access all the sites I regularly use but without the algorithm. This seems to be exactly what I'm looking for!

This really resonates for me. I've gone back and forth on staying on social media given the mental side effects but also how useful it can be. I was on Instagram one day and I noticed that only one in five posts it showed me were from people I actually followed. I found a feature that let met only see stuff from people I followed (Insta makes this hard to find and use) and I felt a lot more at peace when scrolling my feed. Maybe I need to look for a firefly equivalent for it.

I agree with this. In my day to day I've started AI as a glorified "look this up for me" thing and hardly look at reference sites anymore. It's a shame because I really did admire CSS-Tricks when I was starting out and referenced their stuff often. I'll be rooting for them though!

First time I've heard the term coordination tax. Thanks for sharing, I've encountered this in a lot of projects as we added more people. Glad to have a word for it now!

Very cool, I imagine this would be useful for someone having moved to somewhere new. I'm planning a potential move so will definitely be using this!

Woah, I remember hearing about the Cambridge Analytica stuff for the first time in 2020 from watching "The Social Dilemma". I'm surprised there is still legal fall out from that. Also 15% interest until the fine is paid in full is wild. Wonder where they are going to get the cash given how much has been going to AI.
