Extremely confused after reading the article. Clickbait article to me. I did not see any reason where this title "Google made you run a perfectly good website" comes from. You ruined your website. And it is not prefectly good. It is not good at all.

Redis organization doesn't pay any sort of compensation to developers who contribute to redis source code. I do not see any difference here.
