Very true. My favorite jazz club anywhere is in Boston: https://wallyscafe.com/
I'm glad to see it's packed (albeit only holds ~25-30 people), nearly 365 days of the year.

I don't believe a DAC is going to do anything for you, with Spotify. I agree with you there... but saying Spotify is already hifi? Absolutely not.
My DAC plugged into Spotify does nothing for me, and I don't expect it to. Plug that DAC into Apple Music or Tidal, and put on a good pair of cans? Completely different world.

How long have you used https://montaigne.io/? Never heard about it before; very interested.
Love the simplicity of your site, by the way.

What if you BYOD though? Say a Pixel...straight up Android. I'd assume they just track your data traffic at that point? Either way, it sucks.

I got the 8 Plus (upgrade from the 6S Plus), mainly for the camera. Lugging my Nikon D610 has become a pain in the ass.
I wish iOS would allow native DNG (RAW) captures with their camera app. They added HEIC but not DNG? It'd be so much faster to snap a pic and capture DNG with the native app, rather than firing up LR Mobile / VSCO, etc.
