Re:CNC Gothic Stone Carving by the Carmelite Monks on Sunday December 11, 2022 @02:08AM (#33940887)
Landscaping boulders near me are $260 a tonne. How do these brothers afford the stone or placing of finished stone?

Here's nice footage of a big ol' stone CNC.

This looks neat. It even has a linux version - I'll give it a go.
Probably not used to strip RPGs but to lace branches/camo tarps over
Re:About Safety Mode and autoblock by Twitter on Wednesday March 16, 2022 @05:27AM (#30696816)
"detects and blocks potentially harmful language or repetitive, unwelcome interactions"

I couldn't see anything about an opt-in or opt-out for it. When they call it 'safety-mode' are they saying its something you enable yourself?

I think its wrong to call it xenophobia when your culture and race is at risk of being diluted and minimised into a minority in your own country. I would even go so far as to call it xenophilia if you welcome that for your own people.
Re:Mate Selection for Modernity on Tuesday March 15, 2022 @11:05PM (#30694890)
Really gave me a different perspective to "increasing access to education for women is the best birth control"
I wish more corporations and organisations would condemn the actions in Yemen and israel.
I have a 6900xt - works excellently on linux

Why not just take her out of the nursing home?
I didn't know it was registered in the Netherlands.

I use yandex when I don't want censored results - google when I want to know something like "location of X in videogame Y"

India and Russia seem to have a long and amicable history with one another. On youtube I often see Russian men and women as the only foreigners in those Harikrishna groups.
This list is missing two confirmed downed Russian IL-76s near Kiev

This site is slow and calls into question the rest

The failures in logistics in the current escapade show he has surrounded himself by yes men IMO
I read his book about deep blue and found it pretty repetitive
Re:A brief history of liquid computers (2019) on Saturday February 26, 2022 @09:23PM (#30484702)
There was a neat liquid computer called the MONIAC used to model the national economic processes of the UK.

Here's a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAZavOcEnLg

Edit: Oh it was mentioned in the paper!

Re:Bicycle Recommendations on Wednesday February 23, 2022 @03:04AM (#30438790)
I bought a bicycle and every single seat in the shop I tested was horrible.

Why the hell is the default shape a gooch destroyer? I'd rather a round wooden bar stool seat than that.

I literally can't find anything except that design online either.

France, we are told, has “always” been a diverse land of immigration and thus there is nothing novel at all about the Afro-Islamization of the country. In France, the shape of things to come is announced by the département (county) of Seine-Saint-Denis, which makes up the northeast suburb of greater Paris, a significant place in French history as the resting place of our kings. For Zemmour, “Seine-Saint-Denis is the symbol of this great replacement which does not exist.” Over two thirds of newborns have at least one foreign parent. Over 60% of youths are of foreign origin. But these figures are merely indicative: the administration simply doesn’t know how big the population is or how many illegal immigrants there are (estimated between 8 and 20% of the population).

In the 1970s, Orthodox Serbs represented only 13% of the population. Today they are only 5%, expulsed from the capital, Pristina, confined to enclaves, as ostracized second-class citizens, when they are not persecuted, martyrized, chased out of the land of their ancestors. The ethnic cleansing is accompanied of course by a religious and cultural great replacement. Medieval churches are burned down by ecstatic Muslim crowds, mosques dripping with gold-leaf are built in their place, financed by the nabobs of Saudi Arabia and Qatar: the inexorable and cruel reality of a great replacement that does not exist.

Today, around a third of newborns in France are African or Muslim.

Re:Tell HN: YouTube and how my wife lost 7 years of work on Saturday February 19, 2022 @06:42PM (#30401650)
Would a GDPR request have a backup? I think its worth attempting.
Yeah but it means some poor guy had to go without young teen pussy
I just googled "celebrity crypto wallet addresses" and found these:

Jay-z

Mike Tyson

Stephen Curry

Steve Aoki

Lindsey Lohan

Mark Cuban

Snoop dogg

Neymar

Kevin Hart

Serena Williams

Eminem

Paris Hilton

etc

Would be amazing to march around with these addresses on a cardboard sign asking for donations only to get them blacklisted.

Re:Scientists Create 5-MeO-DMT in “Bio-Factory” on Thursday February 10, 2022 @08:05PM (#30295410)
I'm not sure what toads everyone else is using for their bufo but we have cane toads here in Australia that secrete it. I was just checking out wikipedia because I was almost certain its a poison and sure enough:

"As the cane toad excretes bufotenin in small amounts, and other toxins in relatively large quantities, toad licking could result in serious illness or death"

Looks like toad licking is back off the menu boys.

>PCRM also stated that they plan to file a lawsuit against UC Davis on Thursday, alleging that the school is not releasing video footage, photos, and ID numbers of the monkeys. Insider reported that UC Davis states in the lawsuit that those items belong to Neuralink.

>“When you make use of these public facilities and these public resources, you forfeit your right to cloak the work you’re doing from the public,” associate general counsel for PCRM, Deborah Dubow, said.

>“UC Davis did have a research collaboration with Neuralink, which concluded in 2020."

Whats the hold up with UC Davis? Why wouldn't they release what they have from their previous collab?

Currently enjoying 'powdertoy' after randomly coming across it in the software manager.

Seems to include both the process of computation and the output into one package some might call art. Here's a neat example.
