this is exactly what I like in Golang
I personally don't like skeletons prefer just a spinner
/r/hailcorporate this guys are just promoting some products backed with pseudo science BS
I loved this book, finished it like 2 months ago totally worth reading 10/10
I tried it on adobe and it was a pain as well, f adobe hopefully figma steals a lot of their market
the same BS happens with django
Exactly. Couldn't have said it better
no thanks, yet another privacy violating app.
100% sure Dublin & Berlin salaries are lower than Munich, at least outside of FAANGs.
Maybe Switzerland and Norway are higher but so are taxes.
Personal experience:
I used to work in Munich (which has the highest average software salaries in Europe) now I work in Canada. From my experience salaries are higher in Canada than in Europe.
Not only that, it seems technologies are adopted faster in Canada vs Europe, and in my experience code quality better in Canada vs Europe. This is of course very biased and based on my own personal experience. So take it with a grain of salt.
I suppose the proximity with US makes Canada a better option than Europe due to language and timezone barriers.
nah, you need to apply good software dev practices, give excellent pay, benefits and vacations.
Everything else is BS.
You give me the above points I'll give my 100% from 9-5 of course.
agreed google's customer and creators support is awful. I avoid them as much as possible.
this shouldn't be a problem with golang right? because it uses an id when go mod is used. I'm rusty on go since I haven't used it in over 2 years but I believe this shouldn't affect it?
True, I used to work in Germany and all my managers/bosses were white german males.
Two exception 1 from USA and another from balkans.
Since their HQ is in Russia is no one else concerned that their IDE may be subject to Russian spying?
I mean, I'm currently reading the book Sandworm. And it is known in the cybersecurity world that Russia coerces or intimidates companies and devs to work for them as spies.
interested in hearing more people experiences with React Hooks.
WTF. That might be in your country but in Europe this is pretty normal question. If you are going to be hired you have the right to know these.
You seem like an exploiter.
how is that even legal or morally acceptable. What a terrible situation
damn lets upvote this. This horrible company needs the bad PR.

I would like to know what should a logging system log, what it shouldn't log.Is your team logging frontend, backend, database, OS logs? errors, warnings, event?
because you are getting out of your comfort zone (developing the project). Now you will enter a more marketing and sales side which we usually dread as developers. Maybe start doing it yourself and as it gets some clients then hire someone. Or find a cofounder that actually complements your skills (not another dev).
Yes, the documentation loves to use complicated concepts and is very hard to understand. also its a ton of boilerplate code.
I think redux just became hyped because of its "time travel debugging" which is just pure functions returning some stored values.
