Re:Why It Pays to Care About the Happiness of Your Software Developers

"Time and again I've seen developers leave because they've had a frustrating day (always with management, never with technology) and that was the day the recruiter emailed, like he does most days, with an opportunity no better or worse than average. This time she decided to reply instead of sending it straight to the trash."
So true.

I don't know what the laws regarding kicking out tenants in the Phillipines are, but I'd hate to be the landlord locked into this lease if the price of bitcoin drops significantly.

I said they didn't have the same soil. That would include the multitude of internal tools they use to facilitate their software development, most of which are not publicly available, their culture, and the aptitude of their people.

I agree with you. My post was only really trying to promote Agile over Waterfall. Never intended for it to be taken so literally. I hope people enjoy reading it regardless.

Sorry, I meant infinite scroll not paged...

A good example of select2 with paged ajax typeahead queries is the place search box at http://homehelpnow.com.au
Chosen can't do that.

I chose select2 for homehelpnow.com.au because of paged ajax lookups. Check out the place search box on homehelpnow.com.au. Its AU-based, so might be a bit slower for you US folk.
